"Lovely"

2 nights Arrived 29 Jul 2014
"A lovely guesthouse within easy walking distance of the sea, town and restaurants.

They gave us an early breakfast in order for us to go sea kayaking and recommended and booked restaurants for us for our evening meals. Wi Fi was also a boon." See all these reviews: 16n in Namibia; 2n in Zambia

"Friendly and helpful Cornerstone guesthouse"

3 nights Arrived 14 Jul 2014
"Breakfasts were delicious and the staff went above and beyond in helping us arrange our activities.

Really friendly people.

Whilst staying in Swakopmund these travellers also did the Pelican Point Kayaking about which they commented:
Excellent - Great fun kayaking
Lovely lady and everything provided for the water activity_ waterproof shoes and clothes. Also had photos and videos taken and sent to our emails. The kayaking itself was easy- I had been a bit concerned as we were on the sea, but no experience needed!" See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia; 3n in Zimbabwe

"Cornerstone Guesthouse review"

2 nights Arrived 28 May 2014
"the guesthouse was charming in an excellent location in the town.

Unfortunately, we did not have any time to explore the town, getting in late from Sossusvlei, spending all day on our trip to Sandwich Harbor, and then having to leave early enough to get to Okonjima." See all these reviews: 8n in Namibia; 5n in Botswana

"Cornerstone guesthouse"

2 nights Arrived 17 May 2014
"This is a really lovely place to stay in Swakopmund. We were lucky to get a lovely room with extra seating area and outdoor patio - although I think all the rooms have an outside seating area.

It is a short walk to town, and the owner and staff are very helpful. The breakfast was one of the best on the trip. Margo the co-owner is a good artist and we bought one of her paintings. Highly recommended for a stay.

Expert Africa organised a sea-kayaking trip for these travellers whilst they were here. They commented:

This is a must do trip. A short 30 min drive to walvis bay is no hardship and the cornerstone where we stayed arranged an early breakfast. The guides are knowledgeable and the experience of kayaking with seals is wonderful. We saw the flamingoes on the drive to the start point, and Naude our guide was also an expert bird watcher. Very safe and enjoyable trip." See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia; 3n in Botswana
