Only criticism was that we had two chalets for three people but they were not together, separated by main building."

"It is necessary to book for dinner if you wish to visit a restaurant in Swakopmund - even if you are out early.

We had some difficulty but then found an excellent restaurant slightly out of the way at the Boutique Hotel"

"A very good place for a stop on the way from Swakopmund to Etosha.

We did not try the barbeque on top of the plateau and there were only a few of us left at dinner who did not do so."

"Updated since our last visit and very nice rooms. Access to water hole very easy with lots of activity by day and evening.

Restaurant buffet was good. Plenty for breakfast buffet."

"Dinner on the night we were there was a "special" barbeque at increased cost over normal and the meat was inedible it was so tough. Other people we spoke to later also commented adversely on the buffet that night.

Otherwise good accomodation but the waterhole is some distance from the accomodation area. There were at least 30 elephants there during the afternoon which made it very worthwhile."

"A beautiful situation but the water hole at the camp was very disappointing. This camp is very remote. However the guide on the excursion into Etosha was very knowledgeable and friendly.

After dark the staff escort guests from their room to the restaurant and lounge at an agreed time but it would be helpful if there were some way of calling reception when you are ready to make it more flexible."

"A long way from the main road to the camp itself but well worth it when you arrive.

We were given details of activities when we arrived but it would have been useful to have had details of these especially cost in advance to allow for budgeting. Saw cheetah, leopard and wild dogs on activity drives at close quarters."
