Being ATOL protected means that your holiday package or flight booking is covered by the Air Travel Organiser’s Licence (ATOL) scheme, which is a financial protection scheme run by the United Kingdom’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
What does ATOL protection include?
- Financial protection: If Expert Africa goes out of business before your trip, you will receive a full refund.
- Holiday continuation: If you are already on holiday and Expert Africa goes out of business, ATOL ensures you can continue your trip without issues or be brought back home.
- Repatriation: If your airline or Expert Africa fails while you are abroad, ATOL ensures you get back home at no extra cost
The CAA will manage repatriation and refunds directly, ensuring that those currently on holiday abroad can continue without disruption.
