"Luxury in Swakopmund"

3 nights Arrived 15 Jan 2014
"The Cornerstone is a very high quality B&B with a ring of rooms, each with its own veranda, surrounding a beautiful garden. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable (as seems to be the norm in Namibia) and we only sampled breakfasts which were very good.

It is a B&B so evening meals can easily be had in the many restaurants of Swakopmund - mostly within easy walking distance). The owner and his colleagues are friendly and helpful and can provide ideas and information on interesting things to see and do locally." See all these reviews: 25n in Namibia; 3n in Botswana

"Perfect Place to Stay"

2 nights Arrived 25 Dec 2013
"Everything here was excellent from its position, overall accommodation, breakfasts and service. The owners and staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Many thanks to the gardener for washing our car !! Swakopmund was very busy of course and most of Windhoek were there ! The breakfasts were really good.

The drive from Helmeringhausen down the C14 was long and slow in a 2WD as the road was badly rutted so this was probably our longest day driving at 8 hours ! We were very pleased when Walvis Bay came into view.

Cornerstone Guesthouse was a pleasure to stay at and we have no hesitation in recommending this to other travellers. Would we stay there again ? Yes of course !" See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia; 3n in South Africa

"Conveniently located Cornerstone Guesathouse"

2 nights Arrived 18 Oct 2013
"A very friendly guest house conveniently located at the South of Swapokmund town. Also close to the main shopping area and restaurants on the sea side. B&B only, but a very good breakfast, and very helpful owner and staff.

We had no problem parking on their premises tho' there are a limited number of places." See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia; 6n in Mozambique; 1n in South Africa

"Cornerstone Guesthouse"

2 nights Arrived 27 Sep 2013
"The Cornerstone Guesthouse was in a good location. The rooms were nice, no compliants. The gardens ourside the rooms were lovely. I just wish it had been warmer so we could have sat on our patio and enjoyed the flowers.

We arrived late on our first night and Robyn was very accomodating in meeting us at the hotel after she had left for the night. Pieter (the owner?) met us at breakfast and was very friendly and helpful in recommending restaurants. The Cornerstone was a nice stopover between the our trip from the south to the north." "Cornerstone Guesthouse review"

2 nights Arrived 20 Sep 2013
"We arrived in Swakopmund during a sandstorm, so the Cornerstone felt like a calm green oasis. The office staff were helpful and friendly and gave us good advice on things to do in the area. Bertina made a special effort to help us plan our day's activities.

Due to the high winds, we didn't go on a boat trip or guided drive into the desert, but did enjoy exploring the lagoon on our own. We recommend visiting the sea lion colony at Cape Cross." See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia; 6n in Botswana; 1n in South Africa
