"Cornerstone guesthouse"
It is a short walk to town, and the owner and staff are very helpful. The breakfast was one of the best on the trip. Margo the co-owner is a good artist and we bought one of her paintings. Highly recommended for a stay.

This is a must do trip. A short 30 min drive to walvis bay is no hardship and the cornerstone where we stayed arranged an early breakfast. The guides are knowledgeable and the experience of kayaking with seals is wonderful. We saw the flamingoes on the drive to the start point, and Naude our guide was also an expert bird watcher. It is a B&B so evening meals can easily be had in the many restaurants of Swakopmund - mostly within easy walking distance). "Perfect Place to Stay"
The drive from Helmeringhausen down the C14 was long and slow in a 2WD as the road was badly rutted so this was probably our longest day driving at 8 hours ! We were very pleased when Walvis Bay came into view.
