Colin is a character and a lot of fun to have a conversation with. Both he and his staff were able to make us feel right at home and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
Being able to stay until the very last minute before leaving for the airport and use the rooms and pool without any fuss was a gift!

Apart from this, we found Galton House very comfortable, clean and welcoming - just 40 minutes from the airport, and in a very quiet location. Having said that, the rooms were very well appointed and the service was fantastic.
We did not have time to use the pool as we only got there an hour before evening meal, went to bed straight after and left for our journey straight after breakfast.
The food was good and plentiful.
