"This was an overnight stop before the flight home. It’s very quiet and the rooms are comfortable and modern in style.

There is no facility for an evening meal -although takeaway leaflets are provided- however it’s conveniently situated for Joe’s Beerhouse, which is a must whilst in Windhoek." See all these reviews: 22n in Namibia

"A return visit."

2 nights Arrived 17 May 2024
"We spent three nights here, in two separate visits, and have stayed several times in the past.

It is in a quiet area and easily navigated to, from the airport. Maggie welcomed us and as with all the staff, was very willing and helpful. We had rooms 5 and 6, both clean, spacious and well equipped. Room 6, one of two recently added rooms, is better suited to a couple as the bathroom door is only partly obscured .Our rooms looked out onto a small garden and we enjoyed sitting in the shaded garden area at the front of the premises, where the pool is now located.

We had some laundry done at Villa Violet. It was returned very quickly, washed and ironed.

A variety of options were available for breakfast and tea/coffee could be had at any time. There was also an honesty bar. Sophie, who we remembered fondly from our previous visits, booked taxis to Joe’s Beerhouse for us. Located nearby, this is an easy option for an evening meal and online reservations are available." "Really lovely small boutique hotel.

A lovely stopover for the start and end of your trip to Namibia. Nice gardens to relax in - and a small pool if needed.

Excellent breakfast, with freshly cooked eggs to your preference.

Secure car parking, very clean- absolutely no problem in returning to this guesthouse if we visit again" See all these reviews: 12n in Namibia

"The receptionist was very helpful when we arrived and showed us around the property. She also booked a taxi for us to visit Joe's Beerhouse later in the day.

The room was very spacious and comfortable and just what we needed after a long day's travelling. The honesty bar is a good idea. Breakfast the following day was beautifully prepared and set us up for the long journey ahead." See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia

"Villa Violet review"

1 night Arrived 20 Oct 2023
"Villa Violet was a good choice for a one night B&B stop over in Windhoek after an overnight flight from Frankfurt.

It was straightforward locating it on driving from the airport, which was important as a first experience after taking over the rental car. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, the staff were friendly and gave good advice on transport to and from a local restaurant, and breakfast was good.

The owner was very helpful the following morning in giving advice on the best route to Sossulsviel, highlighting it on our road map." See all these reviews: 16n in Namibia; 2n in Botswana; 1n in Zimbabwe
