"Villa Violet review"

1 night Arrived 12 Sep 2023
"Very helpful staff who prepared us a packed breakfast for our early start, and a restaurant the night before.

We went exploring Windhoek which was interesting although the main museum was disappointing. There was a lack of narrative to support the photos.

We returned to the Stellenbosch wine bar which was excellent." See all these reviews: 12n in Namibia; 3n in Botswana; 2n in Zimbabwe

"Villa Violet review"

1 night Arrived 18 Jun 2023
"A quiet and safe respite from a bunkered and barb-wired city.

Windhoek lacks the walkability of Swakopmund and is less pleasant to explore but there are lovely spots here and there and Villa Violet was one of those places.

Quiet and comfortable room, gentle and helpful staff, and proximal to the route to the airport for the next morning." See all these reviews: 9n in Namibia; 5n in Botswana; 2n in Zimbabwe; 1n in South Africa

"Villa Violet review"

2 nights Arrived 22 May 2023
"As we arrived quite late because of the hassle with Europcar and as we had no GPS yet, we got lost in the dark, but a lovely local driver was kind enough to show us the way to Villa Violet.

Lovely guest house, very well equipped, lovely staff who suggested we could be delivered our dinner directly at our place.

A place to be highly recommended ." See all these reviews: 21n in Namibia

"Villa Violet - a flying visit"

1 night Arrived 12 May 2023
"Villa Violet was comfortable and a useful overnight stop to refresh after long flights before setting off on our road trip the next day.

In our opinion it is suitable as a one night stop over - it’s in the suburbs of Windhoek so if you wanted to see the city perhaps not the best location." See all these reviews: 16n in Namibia; 3n in Botswana; 2n in Zimbabwe

1 night Arrived 28 Aug 2022
"A very comfortable and welcoming first stop, very handy from the airport from which it was easy to find, being on the east side of Windhoek as you enter the city.

Staff were very welcoming and helpful, pointing us to restaurants for lunch and dinner and booking a table for the latter." See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia

"Again, we were only here very briefly for one afternoon and one overnight.

A nice quiet hotel that was well located for our brief stop. Nice room and good, helpful staff.

We didn't have time for breakfast so no comment on the food." See all these reviews: 9n in Namibia; 5n in Botswana; 2n in Zimbabwe
