"Friendly Service, Luxury Boutique Guesthouse"

1 night Arrived 22 Aug 2015
"Beautiful first place to stay on arrival, the staff were very helpful, there was private parking and the rooms were very nice.

Breakfast was delicious and the supermarket and restaurants were just a short distance away, making it a good location too." See all these reviews: 13n in Namibia

"Great start to holiday at Elegant"

1 night Arrived 20 Jul 2015
"Elegant Guesthouse was very easy to find from the international Airport.

Although Windhoek is not hard to drive in Elegant is on the edge nearest the airport and this makes navigation easy. Rooms were a good size with comfy beds. Short 5 min walk to Joes Beer House as well - great place to eat zebra and drink good beer." See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia

"The Elegant Guesthouse"

1 night Arrived 23 Apr 2015
"The Elegant Guesthouse was fine but nothing special. It was our least favorite lodging. They made us a little uncomfortable when they said we should not walk anywhere for dinner because the neighborhood was not safe.

I suppose I should thank them for their concern but maybe Expert Africa can choose a hotel in a different neighborhood." See all these reviews: 18n in Namibia

"Quiet street and friendly staff"

1 night Arrived 28 Feb 2015
"The rooms are great but all located around a central atrium so mornings and evenings can be a little noisy.

Quite difficult to squeeze all the cars into the parking area if every room is full. Very welcoming and friendly staff." See all these reviews: 13n in Namibia

"Elegant Guesthouse is elegant"

1 night Arrived 28 Jan 2015
"The rooms are very comfortable. The parking is secure. The duty manager was very helpful. We needed to leave at 6.15 to catch our flight.

She arrived early to ensure that we were able to have breakfast before we left.

The rooms have wifi, very useful after being out of range for a couple of days and gave us the opportunity to check our flight status." See all these reviews: 10n in Namibia

"Elegant Guesthouse review"

1 night Arrived 14 Nov 2014
"Only there one night on way to airport. Breakfast good staff friendly. Ideally close to Joes Beerhouse so no taxi needed to go or return.

Staff quite sweet in that they worried I might get mugged. Been in a lot rougher towns." See all these reviews: 5n in Namibia

"Great option for Windhoek"

1 night Arrived 23 Oct 2014
"This was a great guesthouse to stay at for a night in Windhoek. The reason it gets a rating of "Good" down the line is because we're comparing it to all the other places we stayed along our trip, most of which deserve an "excellent" rating because they are so special.

The Elegant Guesthouse is a cozy place located in Klein Windhoek. The decor is modern. They have an "honesty bar" with a good selection of beverages at very fair prices. There's free WiFi so you can do your last-minute Internet surfing before heading out on your gleefully WiFi-free adventure. The rooms are all around a small peaceful courtyard - the only downside to this is that if you have the door or curtains open then you don't have privacy from the other guests.

The people at the front desk are helpful, if not very cheerful. They arranged a cab for us which took us downtown where we wandered around for a bit (Windhoek isn't that interesting, let's face it), then took us to Joe's Beerhouse for dinner, then back to the hotel (you pay the taxi drivers there at the end of the evening for all your rides).

Breakfast was good - the German continental type breakfast that is served everywhere we stayed in Namibia. There is a good grocery store nearby so after we checked out of the guesthouse they let us store our luggage with them while we shopped because they said it wasn't safe to leave our stuff in the car unattended. So that was helpful.

This Elegant Guesthouse is a pleasant option for your first night or last night in Namibia, but if your trip is anything like ours you will stay in many more memorable places!" See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia

"Great start to our holiday!"

1 night Arrived 24 Sep 2014
"A great little guesthouse with a very helpful receptionist who recommended an excellent restaurant. Our room was clean and well equipped. The breakfast was very good - buffet style but with an option of a cooked plateful.

Taxi easily available for trips into the centre of town and also to the restaurant. There was secure parking for our car." See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia
