"Perfect B&B"
We had a problem with our hire car here and Robyn was most helpful in getting it sorted out. It is worth getting her to book restaurants beforehand to get a good table for the sunset. The Tug is a particularly good seafood place.
Whilst in Swakopmund these travellers enjoyed a Pelican Point kayaking excursion. Here's what they said about it:
Craig was a very good guide and we had a most enjoyable morning with him, first of all birding on the drive out to Pelican Point and then the kayak trip amongst the seals. Recommended." See all these reviews: 21n in Namibia; 5n in South Africa

"Cornerstone Guesthouse review"
Only weakness perhaps was lack of a communal area to sit in rather than in your room if you wanted to stay around The Guesthouse for anytime." See all these reviews: 21n in Namibia
"Cornerstone Guest House - very helpful owners"
These travellers took a day trip to the coastal areas and Sandwich Harbour, south of Swakopmund, during their stay. Here's what they said about it:
We had a fantastic day trip to Sandwich Harbour with Turnstone Tours. Our guide, Mike, was excellent - very knowledgeable and highly entertaining.
We drove to Sandwich Harbour along the beach from Walvis Bay and returned over the high dunes - a lot of fun. We certainly recommend this trip." See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia
"Cornerstone Guesthouse review"
"A superior, family run guesthouse"
Secure off-road parking and premises. Owners recommended and made restaurant reservations for us. Lovely comforatable beds and soft linen. Breakfast choice and ambience in the dining room was excellent. International wall socket was a real plus. For a guest house, this place was exceptional.
Thin walls, meant we could hear people in the next room. Variable water temperature in room 7 a bit of an issue." See all these reviews: 10n in Namibia
"Great stay at Cornerstone"
Room was really nice, excellent location - very close to town, and secure. Enjoyed the little balcony area.
Nice place to spend a few nights." See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia; 2n in Zimbabwe
"Well Looked after at Cornerstone"
Cornerstone had massive rooms, a lovely garden to sit in and served us a good breakfast.
It is a five minute walk to the sea front with the The Tug restaurant and less than this to the marvellous Kucki's Pub.
Pelican Point kayaking
Excellent - Brilliant wildlife experience
This was a superb trip.
Jeanne took us out to Pelican Point early and gave a great guided tour on route: of the wildlife, salt works etc. Paddling out to the seal colony was brilliant, the sea was alive with inquisitive pups and we spent over an hour playing with them.
Jeanne took photos+video which were emailed to us before we got back to the hotel and provided us with equipment, waterproof clothes and lunch." See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia
"Good place to stay in Swakopmund"
Our room was very comfortable, and breakfast in the morning was very good. The owners were assiduous in ensuring we had everything we needed, and made restaurant reservations on our behalf - they even provided a mobile phone pre-programmed with their contact numbers." An excellent place to stay as a stop over or several nights conveniently situated close to the town centre but quiet." See all these reviews: 28n in Namibia; 5n in South Africa
