"A very convenient and nice place to stay in Swakopmund. In a quiet area but just a short walk to the centre and restaurants.

The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfasts. We ate dinner at the Tug and the Jetty and can recommend both.

Also had an excellent lunch at the Hansa Hotel." See all these reviews: 27n in Namibia

"Lovely accommodation and well located"

2 nights Arrived 2 Apr 2016
"The room was spacious and charming with good Wifi. The food was excellent and the grounds were beautifully kept. The owner Peter and his staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful. They made dinner reservations for us for the two nights we stayed there and Peter sourced a new tyre for me for the hire car.

We particularly liked the fish at The Tug Restaurant.

We did a day trip to Sandwich Harbour with Turnstone Tours which was one of the highlights of our trip. The scenery was spectacular as was the sight of hundreds of flamingo in the Walvis Bay Lagoon. Berger the guide and driver was both amazing and skilful with a font of knowledge on Namibia." See all these reviews: 12n in Namibia

"Perfect B&B"

3 nights Arrived 28 Jan 2016
"We really enjoyed our 3 nights here. Nice, quiet location but close to the restaurants. good rooms and an excellent breakfast.

We had a problem with our hire car here and Robyn was most helpful in getting it sorted out. It is worth getting her to book restaurants beforehand to get a good table for the sunset. The Tug is a particularly good seafood place.

Whilst in Swakopmund these travellers enjoyed a Pelican Point kayaking excursion. Here's what they said about it:

Craig was a very good guide and we had a most enjoyable morning with him, first of all birding on the drive out to Pelican Point and then the kayak trip amongst the seals. Recommended." See all these reviews: 21n in Namibia; 5n in South Africa
