We had great guiding, especially at Kifaru and Tortillis and were lucky enough to get a private vehicle at both. At Elsa’s we shared a vehicle with 2 charming like-minded people so that was great too. All of our dietary needs and other preferences had clearly been communicated and management everywhere could not have done more to accommodate us. Really impressed with Elewana and would recommend them to anyone. All of the transfers were seamless except going from Air Kenya to Safarilink at Wilson.
Not sure if I had to do it again whether I would drive from Amboseli through East Tsavo with a one night stop. It was a long, hot, uncomfortable drive on a container route for the most part, we didn’t see much of Tsavo, and from Satao to the coast was full of day-trippers and their crazy drivers. However, I did get some great birds so…

"My Jan 2025 trip to Kenya"
Right from the go, starting with the first discussions regarding my itinerary to the last day and after my return, it was such a pleasure. They took care of every little thing, beyond my expectations.
The documentation was detailed and sent to me via email and then by post as well. At every step Parita was there to check if everything was alright and if I needed anything. Reminders in a timely fashion just in case I had forgotten something. Follow up after my return to welcome me back and enquire if I had any difficulties. All very professional and caring.
Highly recommended.

It was an outstanding Safari focusing upon the Mara Conservancies and I could not praise Expert Africa, Claire, and the properties that I visited highly enough. Serian and Kicheche locations are superb with expert guides, management, staff, food, and hospitality are of an exceptional standard and are highly recommended. They really did feel like my home in Africa, and meeting likeminded travellers added to the experience.
One day after returning home I began to discuss my next trip with Claire.
Thank you, Claire, and all at Serian, Kicheche and in Nairobi who made this such an amazing safari and the memories to last a lifetime.

"Kenya - December 24"
The variety of areas visited was fantastic and wildlife was really plentiful. Best camp of the trip was without a doubt Kicheche Mara.
Lyndsey at Expert Africa is most obliging. There were a couple of "hiccups" along the way, and I must admit having travelled on many safaris, this was a first for me. Lyndsey kindly followed up on every query I had, and I will certainly book again with Expert Africa.

Clean, well organised, incredibly friendly and full of hope for the future.
The gorilla trekking was the highlight but Akagera also stunning.

"Great way to see Africa"
The camps that we chose with great advice and suggestions suited us so well, and we loved that the 2 camps we visited were so different from each other. It was a treat to be met at the airport, then have all the other transfers line up with no stress for us at all.
We especially appreciated Jessica's great effort to save us extra expense when our son had to cancel his trip with us due to health issues.

A huge, huge thank you to Jessica! She was professional, helpful, patient and insightful from the early stages of our trip planning. She was always quick to reply to emails and was happy to make adjustments if needed. It was lovely receiving our pack in the post.
Every step of our trip was smooth and we never had to wait around or feel anxious about where we were going or who was picking us up. We always felt safe and relaxed.
Everyone person who met us was friendly and punctual. The places we stayed were all excellent and the safari camp in particular has given us unforgettable memories we will treasure.
