Feedback Response
We are very sorry that Mr and Mrs M felt the Eka Hotel was poor value. The hotel costs $133 per person per night sharing from Sunday to Thursday and $113 per person per night sharing on Friday and Saturday, for bed and breakfast. High as these prices may seem, they are relatively modest for Nairobi.
The Eka and its more expensive neighbour, the Ole-Sereni, are the closest hotels we use to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport; it's 12km away. (The closest “airport hotel", the Panari, is 11km from JKIA, but not in our programme as we don’t feel it offers a high enough standard for the cost).
Our other low-cost options are either much more modest (such as the convenient but simple Aero Club at Wilson Airport), or much further away (for example the very pleasant Macushla House, in Langata). So we're sorry that the Eka felt like poor value - but despite this, we are confident that we are currently offering the best-value options for overnight stays relatively close to Nairobi International airport.

"Eka Hotel review"
1 night Arrived 23 Oct 2014
"We can't fully review the Eka Hotel as our stay there was so brief - from 11 pm to 5 am the next morning.
What little we saw was great. Close to the international airport. Competent and courteous staff. Nice quiet room. We even managed to grab some breakfast from the buffet as they were setting it up before 5 am." See all these reviews: 7n in Kenya
