"Namibia is a vast beautiful country, visit it"

I visited Namibia between 29 Mar 2013 and 14 Apr 2013
"First visit to Namibia, full of lovely friendly people, stunning landscapes and one startled honey badger.

The vast skies of day and night were breathtaking and we have returned with great memories and four personalised carved nut key rings.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Some of the travelling times between rest camps were longer than we anticipated. We stumbled on a couple of good places to stop for lunch / breaks but if these had been pointed out beforehand it would have made the journey a little smoother." "A Great 3 weeks all round Namibia"

I visited Namibia and 1 other country between 24 Mar 2013 and 14 Apr 2013
"Apart from Budgets 4*4 which was rubbish (I have detailed it separately) it was a smooth, easy and enjoyable trip. We drove ourselves from Windhoek to Fish River, then back up through all the places one needs to see to Etosha, then along the Caprivi Strip, dropping car off at Kasene in Botswana, crossing the border by boat into Zambia and flying back from Zambia

My rating of "fairly satisfactory" reflects our problems with Budget - but Expert Africa did recommend Budet, rather than me asking for it. The rest of the trip wa better than "very satisfactory" and I was impressed by Expert Africa's knowledge and help, nudging me to avoid driving to far if we were likely to have to drive after dark, and offering help when hotels were wanted were book (remember you are dealing with hotels of 10 to 20 rooms on most of our trip)

In short I can recommend this sort of trip to anyone, it is doable, safe, instructive and enjoyable." Read full review: 21 nights in Africa; 18 on a Namibia trip

"My Jan 2013 trip"

I visited Namibia between 27 Jan 2013 and 4 Feb 2013
"We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. It was a well constructed itinerary which drew extensively upon Angela Griffin's expertise and local knowledge particularly in respect of travelling times and distances involved.

During the planning phase Angela was most patient in answering our often repeated queries and modifications to our plans. We have no hesitation in recommending Expert Africa to all.

"My Dec 2012 trip"

I visited Namibia between 11 Dec 2012 and 29 Dec 2012
"On our return to Namibia after three years it was going to be interesting to see whether anything very much had changed and
we found the real friendlyness of people was still there ,apart from more police speed and document checks!

Overall we really enjoyed our umpteenth trip, my first time driving a 4x4 was a plus.

Well done Expert Africa once again." Read full review: 18 nights in Africa; 12 on a Namibia trip

"Absolutely fantastic trip"

I visited Namibia and 2 other countries between 10 Dec 2012 and 2 Jan 2013
"We had an absolutely superb trip and our family will treasure our memories forever.

We thought it was a very well balance trip, with organised activities balanced with independent travel. Renting a car was a fabulous way to travel around Namibia with a young family and the trip was very well planned with the travel distances very manageable and clear The detailed organisation by Maruska and Saskia made for a seamless and very enjoyable holiday.

Our time with the Bushmen was one of our highlights so thanks for the suggestion and organisation of this part of our adventure.

At times it would have been nice to know if we were going to be travelling on gravel or sealed roads and the map provided didn't seem to differentiate between the two." Read full review: 23 nights in Africa; 13 on a Namibia trip

"November 2012 Namibian Birthday Tour"

I visited Namibia between 17 Nov 2012 and 2 Dec 2012
"Our trip to Namibia was everything we hoped for and more, the country was spectacular and the people were very friendly and willing to share their knowledge. The hotels we chose were excellent and we feel that the advice that we were given on these by Expert Africa helped us to make the best of our limited time in the country. Namibia was a fantastic self drive destination - we really enjoyed being able to do everything under our own steam at our own pace.

When we go again (which I've no doubt we will) we would probably go a month or so earlier, as we were definitely getting in to the rainy season with some rather overcast and even cool days and the absence of concentrated game in Etosha. However we were aware of this when booking and chose our dates to coincide with my wife's birthday. The upside was that it was even quieter than we expected, enabling us to appreciate the solitude of the landscape and get the exclusive treatment from guides and other staff.

We would definitely book with Expert Africa again and would like to pass on our thanks for a wonderfully advised and arranged trip." Read full review: 15 nights in Africa; 13 on a Namibia trip

"Overall Namibia trip"

I visited Namibia between 9 Nov 2012 and 15 Nov 2012
"Fabulous time. Great itinerary planned and customized, although we should have listened to Saskia's advice to stay an extra day or two. Nice to have our expectations not only met, but exceeded. Bravo. Thanks again for everything.

We will, definitely, recommend Expert Africa to others and keep you in mind for the future." Read full review: 6 nights in Africa; 5 on a Namibia trip
