"My May 2013 trip"

I visited Namibia between 23 May 2013 and 8 Jun 2013
"Absolutely first class. For me this was the trip of a lifetime and I got my complete wish list. All arrangements went very smoothly and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip. Friendly, helpful staff everywhere and if I could go back I'd go tomorrow. Many thanks to all involved at Expert Africa and Wilderness Safaris.

I can even smile now at the memory of being whisked away in an air ambulance to Hospital for a night after breaking 4 ribs in an accident which was all my fault. Thanks to all who helped, especially Fatima at Little Kulala who deserves promotion.

"There is no other word than PERFECT"

I visited Namibia between 19 May 2013 and 1 Jun 2013
"There is no other word than Perfect to describe my holiday. From the initial contact with Expert Africa to arriving back home.
Travelling on my own worked beyond my expectations - people were friendly and inviting.
Two things will stand out in my memory forever - spending 20 minutes within 50 meters of a black rhino and walking the trails in Damaraland with that exhilirating feeling of complete silence and vast emptiness.

A warm thank you to the whole Expert Africa team and especially to Gwynneth.

"A great African Roadtrip"

I visited Namibia and 2 other countries between 1 May 2013 and 24 May 2013
"The help we received from Saskia from the Expert Africa team was invaluable in providing advice based on local knowledge and personal experience. Saskia was very accomodating in answering our multitude of questions and suggesting places to stay based on our desires and capabilities.

Once on the ground everything ran like clockwork, except for the air travel which wasn't organised by Expert Africa. Even then after a few phonecalls Chris and Gwynmeth from the UK office were extra helpful in helping us get on our way and keeping us updated on the supposed whereabouts of our luggage." "A great two weeks in Namibia"

I visited Namibia between 28 Apr 2013 and 13 May 2013
"We more or less followed the itinerary of the Sandgrouse trip, with a few lodging substitutions. The variety of landscapes, activities and the mix of flying and driving really contributed to our enjoyment.

Tracy was terrific at advising us on lodging selections and providing information on reasonable driving times. We usually book our trips ourselves over the internet, but we knew it was important to get insights and expert advice from the pros for a trip like this. We would recommend Expert Aftica highly.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

I probably would have skipped Damaraland, going from Swapkopmund to Erongo up to Ongava. And I definitely would have spent an extra night at Wolwedans. But this is just personal preference." Read full review: 15 nights in Africa; 15 on a Namibia trip

"Namibia is a vast beautiful country, visit it"

I visited Namibia between 29 Mar 2013 and 14 Apr 2013
"First visit to Namibia, full of lovely friendly people, stunning landscapes and one startled honey badger.

The vast skies of day and night were breathtaking and we have returned with great memories and four personalised carved nut key rings.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Some of the travelling times between rest camps were longer than we anticipated. We stumbled on a couple of good places to stop for lunch / breaks but if these had been pointed out beforehand it would have made the journey a little smoother." "A Great 3 weeks all round Namibia"

I visited Namibia and 1 other country between 24 Mar 2013 and 14 Apr 2013
"Apart from Budgets 4*4 which was rubbish (I have detailed it separately) it was a smooth, easy and enjoyable trip. We drove ourselves from Windhoek to Fish River, then back up through all the places one needs to see to Etosha, then along the Caprivi Strip, dropping car off at Kasene in Botswana, crossing the border by boat into Zambia and flying back from Zambia

My rating of "fairly satisfactory" reflects our problems with Budget - but Expert Africa did recommend Budet, rather than me asking for it. The rest of the trip wa better than "very satisfactory" and I was impressed by Expert Africa's knowledge and help, nudging me to avoid driving to far if we were likely to have to drive after dark, and offering help when hotels were wanted were book (remember you are dealing with hotels of 10 to 20 rooms on most of our trip)

In short I can recommend this sort of trip to anyone, it is doable, safe, instructive and enjoyable." Read full review: 21 nights in Africa; 18 on a Namibia trip

"My Jan 2013 trip"

I visited Namibia between 27 Jan 2013 and 4 Feb 2013
"We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. It was a well constructed itinerary which drew extensively upon Angela Griffin's expertise and local knowledge particularly in respect of travelling times and distances involved.

During the planning phase Angela was most patient in answering our often repeated queries and modifications to our plans. We have no hesitation in recommending Expert Africa to all.
