"Expert Africa trip to Namibia/Mozambique"

I visited Namibia and 1 other country between 5 May 2009 and 27 May 2009
"We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and all of the help and assistance that the team provided - especially Gywneth was more than appreciated!!!

Gwyneth was so helpful before and during our trip!!!! Thank you!! We found all of the information/maps/notes etc provided by the team to be invaluable for our trip and Chris's book was brilliant!!

The highlighted map was a must and we would have been lost (quite literally) without it!!!! We will definitely be recommending expert africa to our friends and family!!!!" Read full review: 22 nights in Africa; 14 on a Namibia trip

"Superb - a once in a lifetime experience"

I visited Namibia between 4 May 2009 and 25 May 2009
"Fantastic!

Namibia is so varied and we did so many different things that it felt like we'd been away for a lot longer than we had.
Thank you for helping make our honeymoon extra special!

Suggestions for improvements:
Both the trip and service were excellent.

The only thing I would have changed is to take more warm clothes for the evening - it got really quite cold which we expected in some places but not everywhere. One fleece wasn't enough.

A tip for contact lens wearers - get prescription sunglassers! it's obvious when you think about it but the dust means that lens really aren't good during the day. (Thankfully I bought some the day before our trip)" Read full review: 21 nights in Africa; 19 on a Namibia trip

"Namibia May 2009"

I visited Namibia between 2 May 2009 and 16 May 2009
"Unforgettable. Exceeded my expectations. It was easy to get around - very little traffic, and only a few roads so hard to get lost! The directions to all our stopping ponts were clear.

The customer service was excellent everywhere, everyone was unfailingly polite, helpful and friendly.

The highlights of the trip for us were Ongava Tree Top camp - loved the camp and the game drives were really good, and Kulala Desert Lodge - the dunes were stunning, just as I'd imagined them." Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 12 on a Namibia trip

"Boswell/Wilson trip"

I visited Namibia between 24 Jan 2009 and 29 Jan 2009
"Your link up with Wilderness Safaris works very well. Everything ran incredibly smoothly and taxis and planes were always where they were meant to be and when. We all enjoyed the trip enormously.

If we go down to Fish River Canyon next year we would not go back to Canon Lodge (which we would never recommend) and would like to try somewhere else.

Well done Sabina for your help and patience in organizing the trip - much appreciated." Read full review: 5 nights in Africa; 3 on a Namibia trip

The trip was superbly organised and a lot of care was taken by Sabina to ensure it matched up to our expectations.

The country is amazing and varied with excellent ecologically aware accommodation everywhere which is a pleasure to stay in.

"My Namibia"

I visited Namibia between 29 Oct 2008 and 14 Nov 2008
"This was a first trip to Namibia and it surpassed all expectations.

The dunes are breathtaking and should not be missed by any visitor. The countryside is very diverse, the people are so very friendly, the standard of accommodation is first class, the game viewing is as good as anywhere in Africa.

It is a refreshing experience for anybody who loves Africa.

Suggestions for improvement:

Expert Africa are a pleasure to deal with as they know the country, the lodges and how best to advise travellers. I am very pleased to have become a traveller with the team and hope that Tracy will be around to advise me the next time.

I think that possibly a better vehicle could have been brought to my attention as the dirt roads are very ridged at the moment. We only saw two graders the whole time and travelling nearly 3000 ks is quite a lot in a little car." Read full review: 16 nights in Africa; 14 on a Namibia trip

I visited Namibia between 22 Oct 2008 and 7 Nov 2008
"Expert Africa team were extemley helpful at all times.

However I do disagree that the gravel roads can be used by normal car. We had a 2x4 and struggled at points, I personally could not drive on some of it. I would advise people paid the extra for 4x4.

Dora Nowas & soussi Dunne Lodge said that only 'brave' people do not use 4x4. If I were advising simeone else I would advise they flew to the main attraction & did the activities or hired a driver.

African people are wonderful.

Suggestions for improvement:

I would suggest you promote the flying to destinations & not using ordinary cars" Read full review: 16 nights in Africa; 14 on a Namibia trip
