The room was quite rustic in style (but smart) with an extremely comfortable bed and nice sheets etc. We were left fizzy wine (we were on honeymoon) and later arrived back to find complimentary port and chocolates along with hot water bottles in the bed! "Ideal for a first-night stop"
Dinner was a set three-course menu, with a choice of meat, and was delicious. It was a pleasant surprise to find complmentary port and chocolates in our room after dinner, and even more pleasant to find hot water bottles in the bed!
The room itself wa spacious with excellent shower and bathroom facilities, although after the sun went down it was not lit well enough to repack after the journey, but that was completed next morning before an excellent breakfast (The "Norwegian" breakfast of smoked salmon and scrambled eggs is highly recommended.)" We arrived very early in the morning, due to the time of our flight. They were very welcoming, immediately served us an excellent breakfast and the room was very quickly made ready for us. It was beautiful, with an amazing shower.
