"This location was more like a dorm room"

1 night Arrived 10 Aug 2016
"The room was like a dorm room. The owner was rude and unhelpful.

I'd tell anyone to avoid this place." See all these reviews: 7n in Namibia; 5n in Botswana; 2n in South Africa; 2n in Zimbabwe

"B & B Windhoek"

1 night Arrived 7 Apr 2016
"Welcoming hostess, comfortable room, but personally didn't like the pillows!
Tasty breakfast.

we went to Joe's Beerhouse for supper - by taxi as advised not to walk around after dark. Great place - very quirky!

Haus Sonneneck was a bit out of the way but as we were only there one night and didn't go sight seeing it didn't really matter for us." See all these reviews: 17n in Namibia; 2n in Zimbabwe

"Haus Sonneneck review"

1 night Arrived 5 Feb 2016
"We felt sorry for the owners as the next door property had jack hammers working on building site all day long, even on Saturday.

Basic rooms, hard bed. Meagre breakfast. Kind woman who booked our dinner for us. Good secure parking." See all these reviews: 19n in Namibia

"Adequate room but skinny breakfast"

2 nights Arrived 22 Oct 2015
"Room was adequate though rather functional. Coffee machine didn't work and nor did the replacement kettle - didn't seem like the equipment was checked. Took the owner ages to find something that worked, though she did eventually.

The breakfast was really mean - tiny glass for diluted fruit juice and the fruit consisted of a plate with (literally) one slither of apple, one grape halved, a segment of orange and a small slice of melon artfully arranged on a big white plate. Limited options for cooked breakfast - one lady asked for an omelette and was told she could have one. Not a place I would return to if other options available, though it was clean.

Did not match up anywhere near to Swakop b+b or Cornerstone, where we stayed 2 years ago. Lacked generosity." See all these reviews: 10n in Namibia

"Very Friendly & Helpful Owner"

1 night Arrived 5 Sep 2015
"We were welcomed on arrival by the owner who was very friendly and showed us to our parking spot. The guest house is in a gated and secure area and the room we stayed in was annexed from the house, very spacious and clean.

Location is good and breakfast was nice and there's wifi in the reception area. It's not luxurious but the service was excellent. I managed to forget the code to the safe, which was no issue as the owner was able to come and unlock it immediately." See all these reviews: 13n in Namibia

"Haus Sonneneck review"

1 night Arrived 23 Aug 2015
"Reception could have been warmer: we were sent away for a few hours, because we were too early (which was true). Not what we were hoping for after a night flight with a small child. Aside from this everything was fine (though they seemed more geared towards German tourists).

Room and breakfast was nice." See all these reviews: 13n in Namibia
