"Vreugde Guest Farm review"
We particularly enjoyed the farm drive with Danie (if you want to understand the complexities of farming in Namibia this is an excellent place to stay)." See all these reviews: 13n in Namibia

It was about 30 minutes from the gate to Etosha which was mildly inconvenient and meant that we had to stay out in the park for the full day each time so the days were long.
But nothing was too much trouble, particularly for my fussy eater who couldn't have been better catered for each evening with specific homemade chicken nuggets/schnitzel each evening.
Overall we had a lovely stay in a beautiful part of the country." See all these reviews: 9n in Namibia; 5n in Botswana; 2n in Zimbabwe

They regaled us with singing and champagne in celebration of our anniversary, another sweet surprise.
Took sun downer trip around farm with one of sons, informative.
No large wildlife, lots of birds, warthogs, dikdik and possibly a duiker
Left early for very long drive to Khowarib. With sightseeing stops, the drive took nine hours.
Excellent food!" See all these reviews: 21n in Namibia

Unfortunately It was raining while we were there so it was not possible to explore the farm.
Food very good in a very welcoming atmosphere.
We would like to return in the dry season." See all these reviews: 27n in Namibia; 4n in South Africa; 3n in Botswana
"Convenient"
We were welcomed and hosted by Rachel, which added a lot to our overall enjoyment. Food was simple home-cooked. Guided safaris into Etosha are offered if you don't want to drive yourself. My only constructive suggestion would be that the combination of having to name a time for breakfast the day before, and having no in-room facilities for making a morning cup of tea/coffee is an uneasy one. If you get your waking-time estimate wrong it can seem an awfully long time to breakfast without a drink.
However this won't matter to many and the friendly hospitality and convenient location will make it a very good stopover choice." See all these reviews: 21n in Namibia
