"Mushara Bush Camp review"
Staff were very friendly and high quality food was served along with a good selection of wines. The only disadvantage was that we had to leave our favourite waterhole 20 minutes early in order to be at the park gates before they closed. This is definitely a camp to visit again and again." "Mushara Bush Camp review"
The permanent tents can only be described as luxurious with fantastic large double beds and a lovely shower room at the back. They have the feel of a lodge rather than a tent although it can get a bit cold at night and first thing in the morning. Set in a secluded wood with wildlife close by, Springboks coming right up to the entrance, it was one of the favourite places of our holiday.
The food and service was amazing. The food was the best of the holiday, the vegetarians had a wide choice (it is recommended that you remind them of any dietary requests when arriving as they cook to order). The staff made a real effort, we had a barbeque outside surrounding by a big open fire on the first night and all the staff joined in when singing traditional Namibian songs on the other night.
Our one small criticism is that we although had lodges 8 and 9, they were a long way apart compared to other lodges which were opposite each other. Our children are reasonably hardy and old enough (13 and 15) to stay in their own tent but felt uncomfortable on the first night so we had an adult and child in each tent. It maybe worth emphasising at the booking that you would like to be as close together as possible." See all these reviews: 10n in Namibia

The outdoor spaces and pool are beautiful and the camp exudes a sense of peace and tranquility. All staff were exceptionally friendly and very good with kids particularly Viktoria who spent time doing sand art with our kids. The food was probably the best we had on the trip. The warthogs hanging out on the lawn were a great bonus for us on our return from a trip to Etosha.
Only minor negative was that the game drive was a little disappointing but this probably reflects that having spent 2 days driving around Etosha ourselves we had come to realise you don't need a guide to see the wildlife" See all these reviews: 22n in Namibia

The main communal area was a highlight, with welcoming fires and great food, and the tented rooms a delight. Lovely touches such as finding hot water bottles in our beds at night." See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia
"Mushara Bush Camp review"
Friendly service and nice touches such as homemade biscuits in tents as well as tea/coffee and hot water bottles. Very clean. A great stopover or base to enter Etosha from the east gate (although not in the park so wouldn't have the night waterhole experience).
Other than Okaukuejo, some of the best game we saw was at the east Etosha waterholes as we drove through." See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia; 3n in Zimbabwe

Staff are welcoming. Warthogs are often on the lawn and dik-diks can be seen in the grounds.
In winter, the tents can be rather cold at night so a morning shower can be bracing! The beds however are warm and comfortable, with hot water bottles put in before bed." See all these reviews: 18n in Namibia; 2n in Zimbabwe
"Mushara Bush Camp review"
This appears to have been a very good decision - we did pop in to Namutomi to look around and found a real mess of a building site. Mushara was very pleasant - wonderful staff (Vicktoria looked after us extremely well from arrival to check out the next morning), excellent food and good rooms. We would certainly recommend this as a good place to stay on the east side of Etosha." See all these reviews: 12n in Namibia

Dinner was excellent and staff lovely. We had hot water bottles in the beds! A rare treat as it was very cold at night." See all these reviews: 26n in Namibia
"Good camp, but away from park gate"
For wildlife photographers it would be better to stay within the park as you will get additional viewing time at sunrise and sunset." See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia
