"Halali OK"
However on the 2 occasions we tried to get food, we were told that they finished at 5pm and it was only after insisting, that we actually got anything. A mis-communication between reception and the kitchen.
Our Bush suite was very nice." See all these reviews: 13n in Namibia; 2n in Botswana

Pleased to see black rhino and other animals and birds at waterhole which we visited every evening. Well worthwhile
Enjoyed cooking our own evening meal as vegetarians are not really catered for. Usually no protein except at breakfast throughout whole trip with one exception." See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia
"Great experience at Halali"
Really lovely situation round the waterhole with loads of animals.
Dinner similar as Okaukuejo , though this time the buffet was full and tidy but the food not quite as good.
Loved having loads of time in Etosha, really special" See all these reviews: 11n in Namibia

Jewel however is the floodlit water hole which was a fantastic experience, with lots of game coming down to drink. Certainly worth staying here just to experience a water hole at night" See all these reviews: 12n in Namibia
"Halali Camp review"
Although the camp was smaller and less crowded than Okaukuejo they appeared unable to cope with the number of guests present at mealtimes - we had to queue for more than 20 minutes on both evenings, in spite of having booked a specific time slot for the meal. This was probably due to the large number of people on the campsite; several school and scout parties joined the host of occupants of overland pantechnicons and family campers crowding the site.
In spite of the scrum at mealtimes, we don't regret staying here, The waterhole attracted, amongst others, large herds of elephant, spotted hyena, lion, an African wild cat and three rhinos, who proceeded to fence with each other before enjoying a drink as the post-sunset sky turned purple behind them.
The waterholes around the camp were good places to view wildlife too." See all these reviews: 17n in Namibia
"Halali Camp review"
We enjoyed the water hole but preferred the one at Okaukuejo as we saw more wildlife and there was more room to watch." See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia
"Nice camp..."
Food not organized well...people standing ...lack of care to renew empty servings.
Our assigned rooms were too far apart
After long conversation at the front desk we got stories they thought we are two families
While we knew the information we gave was of helping us maintain safety and closure to our son.
When we finally got the closer rooms....we found out that the new one...was much better maintained and equipped compared to The assigned ones. By the way this repeated to be true in other places we needed to ask for a room change." See all these reviews: 10n in Namibia

The chalets felt a little like a UK 1960s housing estate and the meals were not that great - though they were acceptable." See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia
