"My Apr 2015 trip"

I visited Botswana and 1 other country between 25 Apr 2015 and 2 May 2015
"Everything was perfect. REally. I am amazed that all of our connections worked, on time, no hassle.

The camps were lovely, The people were stellar, WE spent just enough time in each place.

With a lot of travel in few days, it all went smoothly. Best trip ever." Read full review: 7 nights in Africa; 3 on a Botswana safari

"April 2015 honeymoon"

I visited Botswana and 1 other country between 20 Apr 2015 and 29 Apr 2015
"Great trip and thank you very much for the organization. We had an excellent time and thought that Chitable & Little Vumbura complemented each other very nice as two slightly different camps. All the transfers were very smooth and perfectly organized, including the border crossing Botswana/Zimbabwe. 2x 3 nights in the camps was also a good length of time.

As for Victoria Falls, would suggest recommending Victoria Falls Hotel to people. There was nothing wrong with Ilala Lodge, but Vic Falls Hotel does seem better located and a nicer place to relax given the pool area is so much nicer.

Many thanks again Nick for the great assistance with planning our trip." Read full review: 9 nights in Africa; 6 on a Botswana safari

"Our 4 days Okavango Safari"

I visited Botswana between 15 Apr 2015 and 21 Apr 2015
"This was our first Botswana safari experience.

It all went very smoothly and we thoroughly enjoyed both the camp experience and the game viewing. We really can't find anything to fault other than we wished we had been able to stay longer.

We would love to come back again." Read full review: 6 nights in Africa; 4 on a Botswana safari

"Exceptional experience."

I visited Botswana and 1 other country between 14 Apr 2015 and 23 Apr 2015
"I cannot say enough to about this trip.

So many truly exceptional experiences, so many kind, warm people, the beauty of the region is astounding as is the amount of wildlife to be viewed. The diversity of the forests, grasses, plants and trees is also spectacular. All the guides and trackers were knowledgeable and so much fun to be with. There were nice connections and nice moments.

Without a doubt I will return to this area and without a doubt I will use Expert Africa.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Not really. Nick was always so timely, informative and attentive. It has been a pleasure working with him over this past year. Also, it is nice to have found a company where I can refer people and be assured that they will receive the best treatment.

Thank you all so much." Read full review: 9 nights in Africa; 7 on a Botswana safari

"Our Easter Safari Vacation"

I visited Botswana and 1 other country between 3 Apr 2015 and 17 Apr 2015
"We had a great holiday. Everything was better than our expectations ( except Vumbura Plains ).

One suggestion: when the kids are young, less than 12, I would limit the safari days to 6.

"My Apr 2015 trip"

I visited Botswana and 1 other country between 2 Apr 2015 and 11 Apr 2015
"We had an excellent trip. Of course the object and highlight is to see and enjoy the Okavango delta and its wildlife which we did absolutely.

The organisational skills and expertise of Expert Africa who also gave sound advice on choice of safari lodges, allowed this to be a pleasurable and stress-free experience.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Carry on ! I wonder if there is any scope to encourage lodges to construct hides. Spending time waiting to see what comes by a waterhole say would be good for photographers and others on occasion." Read full review: 9 nights in Africa; 8 on a Botswana safari

"Excellent safari holiday"

I visited Botswana between 25 Mar 2015 and 5 Apr 2015
"Had a great time and enjoyed the contrasts of the Kalahari, Delta and Savuti.

Good choice of camps and lodges and guiding was great.

Our first safari in wet season but was not normal as had been drier than usual which reduced options for activities in the delta but on the flip side made finding cats easier." Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 9 on a Botswana safari

"My Mar 2015 trip"

I visited Botswana between 1 Mar 2015 and 11 Mar 2015
"Fantastic! I wish we were young enough to return.

I don't think anyone should go to South Africa, without also visiting Botswana. I don't know which "season" is best, but it was great when we went. We enjoyed meeting many interesting people, we enjoyed having the knowledgeable guides join us for meals.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

I knew who I wanted to arrange our trip, Maruska, so didn't really inquire or read your brochure, nor check your website.

It was also very nice to meet Ellie Dunkels [Ed: one of our team - as she was on a trip to review and inspect camps] in several of our camps." Read full review: 10 nights in Africa; 10 on a Botswana safari

"A truly amazing Safari"

I visited Botswana between 28 Feb 2015 and 9 Mar 2015
"This was one of the best holidays I have ever taken, I thank Chloe for the choice of the camps and the itinerary worked brilliantly. i really enjoyed visiting the different types of camp and seeing (if only briefly) the different areas of Botswana. I know I will be back.

Even though I gave some negative comments, I truly believe if Vumbura renews the furnishings and improves their maintenance it will be a Premium camp. The location and wildlife were some of the best on the trip, also the managers were really trying to do their best in a changing situation in the midst of construction.

I don't intend to let the attitude of the managers at the Savute Safari Lodge affect my enjoyment and memories of the time I spent there, I met some interesting and friendly guests at the lodge and saw great wildlife and the third guide OB was one of the better guides of the trip. Travelling as a single person has it's challenges and I know that, it was the unexpected contrast with how I had been treated at the other camps that made it such an unpleasant surprise.

All in all it was a great experience and I would repeat it tomorrow if I had the chance!" Read full review: 9 nights in Africa; 14 on a Botswana safari
