"A great safari experience - but one camp too many....
Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
Make it clearer that we would be essentially totally out of communication before we left (mobile and internet)"

"Onz was a great guide and we saw lots - including on one unforgettable day 9 wild dogs "disposing" of an impala, a leopard guarding a kill put up in a tree, two male lions with a giraffe kill, and a lone buffalo. The camp manager Anelle was super efficient.
But as with all the camps we visited the lack of 1) wifi in the rooms, and 2) some form of a gym are major drawbacks when you are away for 2 weeks - getting 1,915 unanswered emails when I reached the BA lounge in Joburg was to say the least somewhat stressful. Wilderness Safaris needs to get with the times...."

"Not much to say - good or bad. But the staff need to know when to back off. We aren't there to entertain them and teach them English.... it was impossible to be on your own as soon as you left your tent. Our guide, Kay, has I am sure seen it all and is very experienced (at 58 years old) but we haven't and we found it very odd that he was the first to tuck in to the snacks at sundown drinks!
Great location but there didn't seem to be much wildlife - the mokoro trip was worthwhile but we frankly got bored on the game drives."

"A great camp - slightly spoiled by the other guests - a group of orthodox jews that insisted on being segregated throughout and an odd set up with an advance team of 3 who were there to check out the camp for 3 days ahead of the arrival of V VIPs (Bill Gates' daughter plus nanny plus friend)."

"A must as an add-on to a 3+ day safari in the delta.....but not something to be done as a stand alone. The holiday relief manager from Zimbabwe, Milo, was a great host, Dabe our guide was excellent, Weda was charming and otherwise everything was great.
A shame that for two nights we were the only guests there - but it would have been worse having the camp full of HNWI Americans (all had of course cancelled because of Ebola in Africa!!!)."

In viiew of the above, I think the lack of coverage of the Hotel in the Bradt guide to Botswana (which has a section on Livingstone which is on the Zambian side of the Falls) was odd......particularly bearing in mind that the guide was otherwise excellent."
