The staff did all they could for us and were most helpful.
This could be a one off but I wonder if there is a procedure for domestic staff to report problems such as broken locks and water not draining.
Our guide was Grass and tracker, Oats. They made a good double act and enhanced our stay." See all these reviews: 12n in Botswana

Tent was spacious and well equipped.
Of my wish list leopard and cheetah were achieved, but no sable, although they are there. Game in general abundant near camp and in a distant section in the East near the Moremi game reserve. As happens the four cheetah brothers were absent on my visit.
Enjoyed seeing month old lion cubs suckling on mum - unforgettable, along with their noises, crying for milk, and trying to get milk from mum's sister !?
Tracking and spotting ok. Communication between the guide and guests is not always spot on, for example if you have a specific request which has not been fulfilled and there seems no likelihood of achieving it raise it direct or with the Management well before your last day. Guests are not mind readers! It was particularly difficult as there was only one vehicle the first day and a half, because only five guests. Thereafter got to two vehicles thereby improving the chances of tracking/finding elusive cats." See all these reviews: 6n in Botswana
"Mma Dinare review"
The cheetah family was seen again, and also a coalition of 4 brothers. We saw 3 honey badgers and 2 porcupines at the camp. The elephant population was vast, including a band of 4 that spent most of their time knocking down and eating the trees around our tent. The antelope herds were extensive, enough to feed all the cats!
Although the landscape was mostly dry sand and mopane woodland the terrain was quite varied, with bigger trees and more water than to the north.
The camp was in a beautiful setting on raised boarding overlooking the river and wetlands. The majority of the staff either were friends or relations from one village and worked together to be the perfect hosts. Lots of traditional singing made for a welcome at mealtimes or on return from game drives. The food was excellent, varied, and all freshly prepared. Our guide Edwin and tracker Sam were excellent at finding the game and looked after us perfectly, and found lions for us on every game drive.
Walking and night safaris, and a makoro river trip added greatly to the safari experience. Being able to drive after dark is essential so you don't have to stop watching something late afternoon if you are a distance from the camp.
As with the other Kwando Safari camps we visited the exclusivity is wonderful - the only other game trucks we met were the other two from our camp, and they all worked together to make sure no-one missed anything." See all these reviews: 9n in Botswana
"Mma Dinare review"
Edwin always made certain we were comfortable and enjoying the drive. He answered all our questions and was a wealth of knowledge about the land, flora, and fauna.
We also enjoyed having a tracker on most drives, and seeing how they work together with the guide. Nice to have only six folks in the vehicle.
Mma Dinare facilities were excellent, comfortable, and clean. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening as well as the great day views of the delta. The food was good, varied, and plentiful. We enjoyed the smaller camp (compared to Chobe Elephant) and dining together with our fellow campers to get to know them a bit.
The tent and bathroom were spacious and clean. We managed the outdoor shower, but had it not been warm in the afternoon, it would have not been a pleasant showering experience. Especially with the winds. Maybe needed a bit more shelter and not so open. The upholstered furnishings were a bit tired and could use a refresh.
We enjoyed the porch on the tent where we could relax in the afternoon and still have views of the wildlife. We enjoyed hearing the animals at night. Lots going on out there in the dark!
All the staff were very pleasant and helpful." See all these reviews: 6n in Botswana; 2n in Zimbabwe
"Excellent camp in every respect"
We saw all the big cats, several times, including a coalition of four cheetah brothers...who suddenly stopped sunbaking on a dirt mound and chased after a male impala, with our 4WD in hot pursuit (one against four, the impala had no escape).
There were two leopardesses and a leopard who demonstrated their tree climbing prowess. On a night drive, we saw one leopardess menacingly stalking and then chasing the other leopardess who fled up a tree, with the other circling underneath! Apart from that, there were owls, an African civet and jackals on the night drives.
We watched a den of wild dogs with playful pups. Several elephant families also had little ones, closely supervised (unsurprisingly, given all the big cats and the large Nile crocodiles along the river bank). We saw a large variety of antelope and birds as well, including a gorgeous Secretary bird. Apart from this, there are plenty of baboons, mongoose, and warthogs.
It was an excellent safari experience!" See all these reviews: 12n in Botswana; 4n in Namibia

Great location on the delta as we watched the water come in and start flooding the area.
Edwin was a terrific tracker and we had some amazing wildlife sightings while there.
Most memorable sightings were 4 cheetah brothers who took down an impala on our first drive at the camp and seeing a pack of painted dogs with their cubs

"Mma Dinare - the crown jewel of our safari"
We found the tented chalets at Mma well appointed in a more 'rustic' style - yet still extremely comfortable. There is only an outdoor shower, which was a bit chilly in the cooler June mornings - however it was the perfect spot to get oneself awake and ready for the morning's drive!
The food and beverage was fantastic - well-stocked open bar with plenty of soft drinks, spirits, wines, etc. And the food was SO good - we had a chef behind the grill serving up freshly cooked steaks, wonderful veg, delicious brunches on return from mornings out, etc. We love the afternoon high tea offering before setting off on the evening drive.
The entire atmosphere of the camp was thoroughly enjoyable and we felt that camp management REALLY cared about the experience we were having. For example, we had an issue regarding a walking safari that we weren't keen on and management quickly sorted out an alternative arrangement that got us out on the morning drive. This makes all the difference, ensuring you have the safari holiday activities that you really wish for.
Lastly, we want to recommend to all travellers the unique experience at Mma Dinare of having a guide and a tracker. We were thrilled with Alco (guide) & Play (tracker) and the sightings they helped make happen - not only the cheetahs & leopard - but also a pack of spotted hyenas at their den with all the cubs out suckling at sunset, a large park of 20+ wild dogs, and their amazing pursuit of a male lion who had been gone from the concession for almost a week but returned on our last morning. They really understood what we wanted to see and worked hard to make it happen.
We even snuck in a viewing of 9 lionesses / cubs just before we headed to the airstrip. This is a very unique part of the Mma Dinare offering and again makes all the difference to the traveller experience.
This was our favourite camp from our trip and we just can't recommend it enough!" See all these reviews: 6n in Botswana; 3n in Zimbabwe
