"Enjoyed it all and would hope to go back. I feel the density of game would perhaps not suit a first timer at this time of year. However we had some amazing sightings including a herd of 800+ buffalo at 4 rivers and male giraffe fighting as well as a fair number of predator sightings.

We were able to spend some time identifying birds, we are very interested amateurs. I would suggest anyone with more than a passing interest might need to book a private tour as not all safari goers wish to spend the time in the same way.

That being said, the guides did very well at keeping everyone on the vehicles happy."

"Although not far from Lagoon, the terrain at Lebala was interestingly different.
The cheetah we saw were the same brothers from Lagoon.

All the camp staff and our guide, George and our tracker, Peach, were attentive and knowledgeable"

"Being a new camp made this the best accommodation of our trip. Whilst the layout was similar there were some up to date refinements.

Again, staff were great and we caught up with Lizzie and Justice from our trip 2 years ago. It was very nice to see them both.

Our guide was Dave, whose long experience coupled with the enthusiasm of our tracker B. B, made our stay interesting and exciting."

"I have not given excellent because there were some small maintenance issues. They were attended to promptly and 2 were resolved. Unfortunately the non draining basin “repair” led to water draining into the bathroom area. As this was not able to be mended, we moved to a different room where all was fine.

The staff did all they could for us and were most helpful.

This could be a one off but I wonder if there is a procedure for domestic staff to report problems such as broken locks and water not draining.

Our guide was Grass and tracker, Oats. They made a good double act and enhanced our stay."

"Absolutely loved each park.

Would not recommend Zambia to first time safari goers as game viewing can be a little slow. However that gave our guides the opportunity to tell us about other things giving a more rounded experience"

"Location was great, the river was beautiful and we saw a wide variety of birds and game particularly antelope.

Hosts were good as was the food.

Despite taking all sensible precautions, we were both badly bitten on faces and body whilst asleep (more than 20 each on our faces)
