Botswana trip- July 2015
Botswana and 1 other country between 3 Jul 2015 and 15 Jul 2015
I want to credit Nick Hobbs for recommending Little Kwara. Without that camp, I would not have seen lion - which was at the top of my list. That camp was not even on my list, but he said they were great trackers and he was dead on right.
Thank you Nick. I will be forever grateful."

The rooms were beautiful - impossible to believe you were out in the middle of Africa.
Also, the food was amazing! I had hoped to lose weight on this trip, but gained due to the incredible cooking.
Finally, and most importantly, the wildlife was plentiful. We saw so many different animals on our list, it is impossible to list them all here. One of the highlights was seeing a wild dog hunt and later the wild dog pack taking a nap. The other had to be seeing a magnificent leopard in a tree so close you could practically touch her."

The main reason why was our guides- T-bone (nickname) and Wagu - who were two of the best trackers I have ever seen. We saw lion every time we went on a drive. We also saw an African wild cat and a Serval on a night drive. But one of the most memorable experiences was seeing a cheetah and her three cubs. We were so close you could hear them purring!
Our guides were also funny and warm, which made every day there even more pleasurable. I will forever remember my time spent at Little Kwara."

Chitabe Camp

However, we felt our guide there was not as skilled as he could have been. He seemed to struggle to follow wildlife tracks.
Our best experience there was seeing Hyena cubs with there mother. However, these animals were discovered by another guide."
In addition, the staff were so warm and attentive. My husband had his luggage lost on our way, and the manager worked tirelessly to help us retrieve it before we left - and succeeded."
