It provided everything we wanted. The choice of accommodation for our budget was spot on, and some how we seemed on almost every occasion to be in one of the best rooms. Hard to believe that was by chance!
We experienced only two very minor 'hiccups' and both were resolved by the Namibian representative almost instantly - itself perhaps as good a recommendation as one can give.

Our experience of the availability of internet across Namibia was considerably better than the Notes to Travellers indicated we should expect.
We found every fuel station and lodge we visited expected us to pay by credit card, and in the end we were left with a large amount of SA currency which we were only able to use after a friendly SA lodge manager agreed to accept it in payment of our final account at the end of the trip." We arrived after the long flight to Cape Town to be met by a smiling driver, this model was repeated at each destination.

We planned for over a year and Maruska was patient and kind enough to answer every single question. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better at one location, it was even better at the next.
The coordination and execution at each point of our journey was flawless. One member of our party even came down with a 24 hour virus during one point of our trip and we were fortunate to be at the same lodge as a group of physicians (we figured Maruska probably took care of that as well).
The safaris were all more than we expected. Not only the animal sightings, but the professionalism and service of the guides, as well as the vehicles were top notch. While the experience was slightly different at each location, overall we were pampered and catered to at each.
It's obvious that the people value tourism and want to ensure you have a great experience.

I saw much more wildlife than I expected and so much of it close to. The scenery, sunrises and sunsets were glorious and I feel that I have experienced a proper African safari.
The lodges were excellent with all the facilities I could have wanted. What made the trip so special was the quality of the staff everywhere I went. They were friendly, professional and keen to show their countries at their best. They were fabulous ambassadors for Africa as a whole.

My son and I had the luxury of our own guide and jeep for most of our outings. We found the more experienced guides to be the best and most enthusiastic.

Lucy put together a great itinerary for Victoria Falls and Boswana with a variety of (very nice) accommodations, activities and modes of transfer between destinations and camps, including a boat transfer.
