"Perfect for family stay"
The huge veranda was great for gathering as a family, as well as enjoying breakfast and dinner. Food was well presented and tasty, with a varied menu and good service. Breakfasts were superb.
Rooms are well decorated and fine for sleeping, though with no private outdoor space, as all open onto walkways. Plenty of places to sit in the gardens or the main building.
Everywhere in Pioneers felt new and beautifully clean.

"Pioneers review"
The rooms are nicely decorated, the bathrooms are modern with unusually good lighting and they had the best mosquito nets we've ever seen. The walls between the bungalows are a bit thin so the noise from the adjoining room was audible. The two swimming pools were too cold to use in July and they could do with more seating in the gardens as there is nowhere to sit outside the rooms.

Pioneer had lots of places where one can just relax and unwind, 2 pools, outdoor and indoor seating areas along with the outdoor restaurant. Loved the resident ducks there.
Good selection and food at breakfast although we weren't impressed with lunch at the bar.

The rooms are very comfortable with cosy duvets and good showers, the grounds are green and peaceful with two lovely (freezing!) pools and a beautiful family of ducks, the restaurant is great and the service was everything we needed.
It's location is not ideal if you want to walk to the Falls, but it is actually nice to come away from all the action at the end of a long day to such tranquility, and it's so easy to organise a lift.
