Coconut Beach Holiday in a nutshell
This holiday starts with a couple of nights in Stone Town, staying at the theatrical Emerson on Hurumzi. This historic building has been converted into a quirky hotel, with individually designed rooms, antique furniture and a fabulous teahouse restaurant. We love the Swahili cuisine and the sunsets over the harbour.
Stone Town is a fascinating area to explore on foot and the best way to do so is with a guided tour with a knowledgeable local guide. Visit the spice markets and old apothecary, chat with the locals at Jaws Corner and learn about local customs.
You will then go on to spend four nights at the highly luxurious White Sand Villas on the south east coast of the island. Set in tropical gardens, the modern, open plan villas give both space and privacy, many with direct access to the expansive white sandy beach. Learn to kite surf at the onsite water sports centre, enjoy a soothing massage at the spa and round off your day sipping champagne at the rooftop wine bar. With friendly service and outstanding food, White Sand Villas delivers a truly special experience.
