"Life changing trip - Zambia Sept 2024"

I visited Zambia between 7 Sep 2024 and 18 Sep 2024
"Absolutely life changing. Although, it wouldn't have been possible without Amanda, and I am extremely grateful for her help and kind guidance on what to take and the programme once I was there. Also, I had a quick question once there and this was answered immediately by Amanda .

There is no highlight to this trip - the ENTIRE trip was the highlight and one to be repeated. This is an experience that no amount of money would ever cover what it has given me. I have never been so connected to the earth.

More about the trip - words cannot express enough thanks to Expert Africa and Robin Pope Safaris. I have been out with guides who are in the premier league of what they do, the hospitality staff also - people who take real pride in their jobs. This holiday has not only left an imprint, but I have made friends who I will see again. Please note that this is not a colonial style 'big 5' lets drive around the park in a jeep and mark animals of our list - this is a true class act. Nothing too much trouble.

I would also encourage other guests to interact with the guides and other staff to get a real insight to life in Zambia. Also, would really advise Robin Pope to look after the catering / facilities staff as these guys are so brilliant that they could work anywhere.

It was clear to me on the trip that Expert Africa, Amanda had made sure I was more prepared for the trip than other agents had with their guests. Whilst it is not a competition, Expert Africa deserves to be in business and I will be booking again and really suggest you do the same." Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 9 on a Zambia safari

"My Sep 2024 trip"

I visited Zambia and 1 other country between 5 Sep 2024 and 18 Sep 2024
"The whole trip was put together between Megan Green and ourselves and everything worked like clockwork thanks to her.

Thanks also are due to Tours Africa for their assistance in Lusaka both on arrival and departure. Getting in and out of Zimbabwe would not have been possible without the help of Wild Horizons

We saw many other animals and birds not noted in this feedback but the checklists provided by Robin Pope are very comprehensive. Of particular note are crocodiles, Puku, Kidu, water buck, warthogs and numerous birds particularly eagles.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

None. Just keep going to provide the same quality product and service to clients" Read full review: 13 nights in Africa; 9 on a Zambia safari

"Kafue and South Luangwa Sep 2024 "

I visited Zambia between 4 Sep 2024 and 18 Sep 2024
"We enjoyed a fantastic trip.

Kafue was new to us, then we went back to south Luangwa for our fourth visit.

The safari lodges were all of a high standard, although Ila was not really our sort of place, as it seemed more like a hotel than a traditional safari lodge.

The guides make the trip, and the wildlife viewing and standard of guiding was superb, especially in south Luangwa." Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 13 on a Zambia safari

"My Sep 2024 trip"

I visited Zambia between 4 Sep 2024 and 18 Sep 2024
"Lucy spent quite a lot of time arranging our trip - mostly because we had to book Avios flight with British Airways and availability was sometimes difficult on required dates.

Of particular note, when we arrived at JNB there was a downtime with electricity and the airbridge was inoperable. We had assisted passage though the airport with British Airways and we were taken straight to the transfer desk rather than to the place at which we would be met by one of your team. Lucy was concerned that we may have missed the London to JNB flight and contacted us to find out whether there had been a problem to find out.

Overall we had a great holiday and throughout the whole process were confident about the organisation of the holiday. The arrangements went well with no problems but we were confident that if a problem arose your HQ team of the lodge teams would solve it without any fuss.

We have recommended your organisation to friends who are considering a safari. Since this was our third safari with Expert Africa, demonstrates that we are comfortable with the way in which you conduct business and the quality of the holidays." "My Aug 2024 trip"

I visited Zambia between 26 Aug 2024 and 6 Sep 2024
"I had difficulties at first, because inexplicably a member of the team forgot about my booking and failed to follow through the details.

However on enquiry this was swiftly put right and the trip proceeded exactly as set out, and without any glitches. This was very satisfying as on a safari trip the wheels can come off!

Have to say all my trips with Expert Africa, have proceeded as planned." Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 9 on a Zambia safari

"South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi August 2024"

I visited Zambia between 21 Aug 2024 and 1 Sep 2024
"The whole trip was absolutely excellent from start to finish and all the arrangements went like clockwork. Lion Camp/ Anabezi was a great combination, enabling us to experience the varying landscapes and wildlife of South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi in beautiful camps. We would rate both camps equally for comfort, luxury and overall wildlife experience.

We loved the informal, friendly atmosphere of Lion Camp. The wildlife was plentiful, the game drives were full on and we found we did not have time to freshen up before dinner (we could have asked to return a bit earlier, but did not want to miss anything!).

We found the atmosphere at Anabezi slightly more formal, but equally welcoming and friendly. The structure of the day there meant that we had more time to relax between game drives and overall the pace felt more leisurely.

A perfect trip, thank you!" Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 9 on a Zambia safari

"My Aug 2024 trip"

I visited Zambia between 18 Aug 2024 and 1 Sep 2024
"Maruska and Expert Africa certainly made my trip go seamlessly and I would have no hesitation about recommending them as they took into account everything that I asked for and the information provided was plentiful and clear.

Apart from my flight cancellation (nothing to do with Expert Africa) my entire trip went without a hitch and the the camps that I visited met (or exceeded) expectations, with a high standard of service and organisation.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Not really. The only point that I would raise is maybe the proximity of the rondavels in Nsefu, which is not ideal for people seeking privacy." Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 12 on a Zambia safari
