Unfortunately there were a number of controlled 'cold' burns during our time here which led to a large amount of smoke in the area. This was a bit of a bummer as it affected visibility and was a bit irritating to the eyes and lungs, but isn't something controllable by the camp or staff." See all these reviews: 9n in Tanzania

Very comfortable, large and well equipped tents (which we were told are being replaced).
There was plenty of space between tents which also provided high level viewing platforms (with beds) for star gazing." See all these reviews: 12n in Tanzania

"Olmara Camp review"
The roads were severely rutted and muddy. The grass was so long that we needed to travel over an hour to find any wildlife. On the upside, it is absolutely a lovely place and lovely setting once we got there.
We were the ONLY people at the camp for the few days we were there and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was outstanding.
In a normal dry season with shorter grass, I would highly recommend this camp as it is without a doubt the BEST place to see cheetah." See all these reviews: 7n in Tanzania; 7n in Kenya
