"Serengeti under Canvas review"
The movement of the endless herd of wildebeests and zebras is mesmerizing. It was an amazing experience.
Unfortunately the camp itself disappointed us. It's poorly adapted to rainy cool weather. Food is mediocre. It is clear that the staff is trying to do everything in their power, but their capabilities are apparently limited.
We expected something better from "and beyond"." See all these reviews: 7n in Kenya; 3n in Rwanda; 3n in Botswana; 3n in Tanzania; 2n in South Africa; 2n in Zimbabwe
"Beautiful camp!"
Attention to detail was obvious and the staff were very hospitable and polished.
Unfortunately the expected wildebeest and zebra migration had not quite arrived due to changes in the usual rain pattern but this was made up for by the beauty of the camp itself." See all these reviews: 9n in Tanzania; 4n in Zanzibar
"Everything you could ever want "
We were lucky to be guided by Justice who was highly skilled and extremely knowledgeable. Because of him, we have memories that will last a lifetime. We cannot recommend him highly enough." See all these reviews: 8n in Tanzania; 1n in Kenya
"Fantastic tented experience"
Other comments: Quite a long drive to the Mara river (about an hour), camp wasn't informed of our dietary requirements so the dinner on the first night had to be changed (we should have been asked in advance). Food was good without being outstanding. On other safaris I have been on we stopped more often for a snack/drink/leg stretcher - on an 8 hour drive we only stopped once.
Overall it was excellent." See all these reviews: 5n in Tanzania; 1n in Kenya

And Christian, our super butler, impecable!! Loved the campfire in the evening and the cool drink and cloth washcloths upon arriving back from a game drive. Even the burned area next to the camp didn't take away any of the ambiance. Can't wait to stay at another And Beyond camp!" See all these reviews: 3n in Tanzania; 3n in Rwanda
"Glamping"
The service was fantastic, the location breathtaking, and the "tent" was nicer than many hotels I've stayed in." See all these reviews: 7n in Tanzania
"Brilliant camp 1 and river crossing"
I was fortunate to see and experience 3 river crossings! Great! The warmth and hospitality of staff is very touching! Great singing! Mobile tented camp, but my stay was very comfortable." See all these reviews: 10n in Tanzania
"Under Canvas casually elegant safari"
Each tent has gorgeous sunrise and sunset views. Private butler tent service providing hot showers, coffee, laundry and just about any other request imaginable. Copper sinks and water vessels and even a flushing toilet in tent! Lovely bath products and personal tent touches. Dao our tent butler thank you for such kind and gentle professional care.
The meals all served under the fabulous Serengeti sky. KK the "Kitchen King" worked magic in his bush kitchen. As a cook I salute him!
Jabir our guide had stiff competition after Klein's Camp delivered the cheetah brothers for us. He tracked and tracked and on day 2 delivered a leopard and on day 3 her cub!! Impressive under pressure and just in time for my 50th birthday! What a present!
Baracka the camp manager does a terrific professional job. We loved his fireside stories. He has the ability to relax his guests.
My 50th birthday party at camp dinner was unbelievable with the entire staff providing the only music I heard in Tanzania. Happy Birthday will never be the same. Thank you All!
As you can see we know this staff by name! These are happy staff that make for happy guests. We may have missed the great migration river crossing by timing and lack of rain but we did not miss one thing in this fantastic end to our dream safari holiday.
Every single person at this camp went Above & Beyond. Best money we ever spent!" See all these reviews: 11n in Tanzania
