"First class experience"
The room itself had a good sized bed with mosquito nets, separate and very large bathroom with shower and twin basins. Water is solar heated but was plenty hot enough whenever needed (until a buffalo stood on the pipe!). Outside a lovely deck overlooking a view of the Serengeti below.
Our guide was about the best we have ever had on safari and was brilliant at finding wildlife, explaining about things and generally providing the best experience possible. We also had a walking safari which was great too. And we managed to see a wildebeest crossing as well.
All the meals were first class with excellent salads at lunch time and interesting dinners in the evening.
The hosts and staff were first class and could not do enough for us.
A first class camp that is hard to fault and highly recommended." See all these reviews: 16n in Tanzania; 4n in Kenya
"Perfect 10 out 10!!"
Clyde and Helen (and all the staff) were the most friendly and amazing hosts. It is perfectly located with views over the Serengeti - surrounded by animals and incredible scenery (elephants munching outside our room at night, leopard crouching in the rock on the road into the camp, wildebeest and zebra everywhere just to name a few....).
The rooms are beautiful! We had a family room which was perfect for our family of 4. Our guide Amos was incredible, super friendly and determined to give us the best safari experience (And boy did he deliver). We cannot recommend this camp highly enough." See all these reviews: 8n in Tanzania

Undoubtedly the best camp of the trip." See all these reviews: 13n in Tanzania
"Breathtaking! Unforgettable..."
We cannot fault the service, the location, the food, the rangers and the game drives and viewing - and the "nothing is too much trouble" attitude. We have most definitely ticked one off the bucket list with this one and we would come back in a heartbeat.
Quite simply an amazing place that we feel privileged to have experienced and we look forward to our next visit very very soon." See all these reviews: 5n in Tanzania

"Lamai Seregeti - a wonderful place"
A particular highlight was witnessing a leopard as it stalked its prey, caught it and took it away to haul it to safety up a nearby tree." See all these reviews: 12n in Tanzania; 1n in Kenya

"Lamai Serengeti review"
We really enjoyed eating under the stars with the management team & once again the food was absolutely delicious. Our picnic breakfasts were magnificent! and lunch was always light & fresh (perfect in the heat). The canapés prior to dinner were all excellent as were the meals - top marks to the chefs!
The askari were so polite & brave. We felt safe in their company, Puce was always very chatty & charming.
The only potential downside to this camp is that some of the lodges are quite along way from the main area with quite a steep climb and we were definitely affected by the altitude! We were very lucky as our lodge was quite close but just wonder whether clients should be made more aware of this element." See all these reviews: 8n in Tanzania
