"Immanuel Wilderness Lodge review"

1 night Arrived 18 Sep 2017
"If you would like a day or two just outside Windhoek, within easy reach of the airport then this Lodge is very handy.

The really strong point about Immanuel Wilderness Lodge is the owners. They provide absolutely perfect care of their guests. The food is exceptionally good, the hosts and staff are lovely, and everyone wants to see that you are happy and comfortable. Without asking, they offered to check us in for our flights, print boarding passes etc to avoid hassle at the airport; just that wonderful feeling that they really look after their guests.

The rooms are simple but they are clean. There is plenty of parking and the grounds (with a pool) are adequate for just relaxing. We would chose to stay here to start and end any future visit to Namibia. As mentioned by others, do enjoy the Namibia cheeses; wow, they are good!" See all these reviews: 16n in Namibia

1 night Arrived 6 Jul 2017
"I got badly lost in the dark trying to find it as the directions were from Windhoek ( I realised afterwards ) not the North (Etosha) and were possibly confused by the new stretch of road/ dual carriageway. slightly impractical long gravel paths for those with big wheelie suitcases. Unbelievably good dinner ;0)" See all these reviews: 18n in Namibia

"pleasant lodge near Windhoek"

1 night Arrived 2 Apr 2017
"Small cabins were adequate for an overnight stay. Good aircon, clean and fresh with slightly old fashioned bathrooms.

Odd gardens with pets and flowers mixed together where interesting. Lovely pool.slightly spoilt by the sound of the main road.

Food was terrific. The set menu an absolute treat as was the locally made cheese at breakfast." See all these reviews: 26n in Namibia; 2n in Botswana

"Immanuel wilderness lodge."

1 night Arrived 13 Feb 2017
"Perhaps it was situated in wilderness at one time !

Now it is on the edge of an industrial area with the sounds of a forklift truck and angle grinder constantly in the background.

Adequate room with a ridiculously small bathroom.

Food was excellent but bar area was spoiled by a rather large dog running wild." See all these reviews: 27n in Namibia; 4n in South Africa; 3n in Botswana

"Directions to the lodge could have been better.

Very pleasant for an overnight stay close to Windhoek after a longish journey.

The Namibian cheese was wonderful!" See all these reviews: 10n in Namibia; 5n in Botswana; 2n in Zambia

"Immanuel Wilderness Lodge review"

1 night Arrived 7 Jul 2013
"This was a delightful haven to assist some recovery from Jet Lag. It was very clean, comfortable and adequately appointed.

We happened upon a quiet time in the tourist season and enjoyed long chats with the owner/chef.
Having left a dog at kennels in N.Z. we enjoyed the 4 dogs belonging to the owners at this resort.

This was a gentle introduction into the climate and culture which as our West Africa trip progressed so did its challenges. (After Namibia we went on to Cameroon, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Burkina Faso)." See all these reviews: 5n in Namibia

"Immanuel Wilderness Lodge review"

1 night Arrived 11 May 2012
"Once again excellent food and staff, but after the luxury of the Frans Indongo this lodge was never going to be as nice.

It was nonetheless a very good option for those needing to stay near the airport at the beginning or end of the trip, who don't want to stay in Windhoek itself. The drive to the airport was about 60km and took no more than an hour." See all these reviews: 7n in Namibia
