"Attractive, relaxing place with pretty garden"
The Haus is in a pleasant residential area with large trees giving a green and shaded backdrop. It is not in walking distance of Windhoek but is a attractive, quiet place to stay and excellent value." See all these reviews: 13n in Namibia

Breakfast was a good buffet and the swimming pool was enjoyed by the boys. We were kindly allowed to stay beyond the usual 10am check-out to sort out our suitcases ready for our flight home that evening.
This place had a relaxed and kindly feel and was a good place to spend our last night, although in hindsight, it would perhaps have been nice to be a bit more centrally situated in Windhoek so that we could have walked round a little more without having to take the car." The long tables which you share with other English speaking people was a great idea (providing you are of a sociable nature) and later you could sit close to the huge fire in the middle of the circle of tables and reflect on your holiday experiences." See all these reviews: 13n in Namibia

"Good reception, good stay for one night."
"Another pleasant night stop"
We had to leave at 5.15am the following morning to catch an early flight from Windhoek and so were not able to enjoy the breakfast hospitality. However we were both given a generous packed breakfast to see us on our way.
While in Windhoek, we took a lovely little drive out to Dal Viljoen National Park some 20 km away and spent a pleasant couple of hours walking by the lake." See all these reviews: 9n in Namibia; 3n in South Africa

"Perfect start to our holiday in Namibia"
We liked the peaceful location, but also liked the fact that we were able to get to the centre of Windhoek in very little time. Gisela and Rudolph made us very welcome as did Ulli (?) the dachshund. The pool area was nice but as we were there in winter, not in use! This was the perfect start to our holiday!" See all these reviews: 13n in Namibia; 3n in Zambia
