"We have used Expert Africa for over 15 years now and never had to call on them to sort a problem whilst in Africa but the understanding of our problem with the car hire and speed of their response and action was first class - the right help when we needed it.

They were able to turn round a trip that was becoming problematic in to one that we will remember for many years.

"We had a fabulous trip to Namibia.

Tracy did a first class job with the accommodation she recommended and was extremely helpful with the fuel situation in Etosha.

I would certainly use Expert Africa again and would not hesitate to recommend them.

"Tom organised all aspects of our trip and he put together a wonderful itinerary balancing seeing the landscapes of Namibia with the wildlife viewing as we wanted.

He suggested a series of memorably good lodges and camps with sensible more basic options for when we simply needed a comfortable guesthouse for a night rather than luxury lodge. He discussed and booked a series of excellent activities for us and we kept in contact throughout the period up to the trip.

To demonstrate the great level of service. We managed to leave an ipad at Damaraland Camp and between the wonderful camp staff and Tom and his colleague Tracey's efforts and ingenuity they managed to organise its return to us back in London - this was definitely above and beyond!.

"Apart from my disappointments about Safarihoek this was another fantastic trip to this magical country.

As ever Expert Africa went above and beyond.

Anderssons was the highlight but other lodges were great too.

"What can we say! We had no idea what to expect from Africa or a safari and this trip and all the animals, accommodation, scenery, food and people far exceeded our expectations.

The same could not be said of the roads, though, most of the non-tarred ones were much worse than we expected. It was a very good place to get what they call a "Namibian massage" as we bumped along in our all-wheel drive Nissan X-Trail.

Beware, food portions are very big, like in the US! The quality of the food is superb, especially the beef, so tender.

We were apprehensive that we were staying in tents at some of the places - but they were nothing like what we expected the tent to be. They were really big and solid and felt safe (our main concern), plus all except Kanaan Desert Retreat had amazing facilities and amenities in them. Beds everywhere were really comfortable too.

"We were expecting great things and I had built the vision of “holiday of a lifetime”. We were not disappointed! We both agreed that this was the best holiday either of us had ever had and almost every day exceeded expectations. The itinerary was spot-on, the accommodation excellent, and occasionally mind-blowing, the scenery spectacular and ever-changing and our few excursions thoroughly enjoyable. To then add the value for money when eating and drinking and fuel prices a third lower than here in UK, our additional spend was well under budget! "Our trip to Namibia was amazing. The scenery is incredible and we had fantastic wildlife experiences. The people we met: guides, staff and fellow travellers, added to our enjoyment and understanding of a very special country. The one thing that can be quite jarring is driving on gravel roads! But you can take your time and the scenery is always stupendous.

Highlights were our desert trek, our excursion in the desert, the setting of Camp Kipwe, the Okaukuejo waterhole, game drives in Etosha and the hide at Onguma. Expert Africa's comprehensive and detailed website helped us choose amazing places to stay and then Sabina's recommendations made it even better.

It was a shame my husband was ill during our trip but it didn't stop him and me enjoying such a special place. Thank you to Sabina who was on hand when our flight out was cancelled and when I left an item at a guesthouse. Everyone on the team showed real kindness to my husband who was hospitalised on his return to the UK. The maps, directions and information sent out before the trip were very useful.
