"The facilities was very good.

We had an evening meal at their restaurant which was good."

"We enjoyed this stop over very much as we could interact and get to know the owner (family owned business) directly. We learnt something about the realities of running a business in this harsh climate.

We tried quite a few of their local walks. The highlight was the trip (by vehicle) that we took into the Naukluft park with walk down the riverbed. Very knowledgeable guide.

The accommodation was very good. They made use of a lot of local food (where possible) and made their own cottage chese and breads.

Considering the price of this stop over, you got more than your money's worth

We did not feel like hotel guests but instead felt at home. What a pleasure!"

"The location of this lodge is stunning.

They have a lovely water feature just at the edge of the lounge area - a delight to watch birds and dassies feeding and interacting.

They arrange sunset drinks where you can just sit and relax with the most beautiful view. Conveniently close the Twyfelfontein.

We followed their short marked footpath around the lodge. We felt that they can extend this to longer walks."

"Being so close to Etosha it was an easy drive into the park for a day's visit.

The lounge and pool area was made special by wildlife visiting the waterhole.

Sitting on the decking area for dinner and sundown is definately a highlight of this lodge.

Food was top class and the rooms well layout out and thoughtful with regards to plugs and light switches."

"As this lodge and reserve is very big and connected to Etosha it was a real African experience and put you in touch with nature.

We sat the the hide for sundowner and was amazed and entertained by the animal comings and goings.

We also took a morning guided walk which was the highlight of our whole trip.

"This is very handy and great stopover on the way to Windhoek.

It was quite busy but run very smoothly to handle the different needs of the visitors. They have a number of guided walks. We did 2 of them - very well marked and quite challenging on rocky terrain. We loved this.

The rooms where such that you could enjoy the wildlife feeding and passing by on the way to the waterhole from your veranda. A very relaxing atmoshpere.

We took a packed breakfast as we had to leave early for the airport. A brown paper bag packed with goodies!"
