"Mushara Bush Camp review"
"Particulatly well set-up for families"
The lodge and the tented rooms are all very stylishly decorated and thoughtfully equipped. However the tent got very hot during our stay (November) which did not make for a comfortable night's sleep, even with the fan that was provided. I would imagine the rooms would have been a lot more comfortable between May - September.
We found the guided game drive into Etosha a bit disappointing compared to other game drives elsewhere as the guide did not seem very engaged or interested in telling us about the wildlife and seemed to prefer chatting with his friends on the radio. Also, due to the distance of the lodge from Namutoni, we lost some time getting to/from the park." See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia

"Gateway to Etosha"
Our tip would be not to bother with a guide because Etosha is totally accessible by self drive and the guide can't take you anywhere that you can't go yourself." See all these reviews: 17n in Namibia

"Convenient for Etosha"
The Mushara morning game drive into Etosha was well organised and all the guides were in radio contact with each other so were able to keep each other informed where all the good sightings were, the lodge also provided a packed breakfast and coffee.
It was a pleasant place to stay and not far from the Namutoni entrance to Etosha. Staff were all very welcoming and helpful but again like Okonjima, no one seemed to know about the Soya milk or to be bothered about it. After our experience with Okonjima we had got tired of repeatedly asking so had given up on it." See all these reviews: 11n in Namibia
"Loved everything about this place!"
Dinner was really good, vegetarian options available and delicious breakfasts - I remember the bread especially. Dinner on the second night was a braai with tables outside, beautifully lit tables and surroundings, and great singing & dancing by the staff - all very memorable.
We booked a morning game drive for one last trip into Etosha and it was just us and the driver - and what a great experience it was seeing lions up close at the first waterhole Chudop, then later at the same one around 40-50 elephants of all sizes drinking, swimming, playing and throwing mud. As our driver Bennie seemed to know most of the other drivers, they let him get in close for a good view. We couldn't have done that in our own car. Excellent coffee & carrot cake back at the camp.
Possibly my only criticism of this place was the thin, cheap pillows but that really is all!" See all these reviews: 15n in Namibia
"Our first 'tent'!"
Excellent food - the first night we had a most enjoyable buffet in the garden, painstakingly set up by the cheerful staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it." See all these reviews: 14n in Namibia
"Mushara Bush Camp review"
We only stayed one night and the camp was full which is perhaps why service at dinner was a bit slow but the quality of the food and enthusiastic staff singing and dancing made it well worth the wait." See all these reviews: 16n in Namibia
"Mushara Bush Camp review"
The service was friendly and helpful. The meals were eaten together but at separate tables i.e. not communal like many other camps. Have to watch out for the tree squirrels pinching food. Also had Warthog and Common Duiker and various birds really close on the lawn and heard Lions roaring at night although they are in another concession.
We didn't do any of the activities arranged by Mushara as we drove ourselves into the park on our full day there." See all these reviews: 13n in Namibia; 6n in Botswana
