"A fine transit hotel"

1 night Arrived 22 May 2015
"The great thing about Ole Sereni is its location near the airport - a key factor given the awful Nairobi traffic. The bar terrace is a great place to grab a drink and relax after your flight - it makes a lovely start to a holiday. The downside is that the rooms are not particularly well soundproofed so there were doors slamming and noise well past midnight, which meant that we didn't get much sleep given we had to be up at 5 for our onward flight." "Ole-Sereni review"

1 night Arrived 29 Dec 2014
"Was fine as a basic overnight stop off. The staff were very nice and helpful. The actual hotel wasn't that nice though nor was the room. The location is just on Kenya's equivalent of a motorway too. I'm not sure if there are any hotel airports in Nairobi but if there are that would have been an easier stopover." See all these reviews: 9n in Tanzania; 7n in Zanzibar; 1n in Kenya

"Ole-Sereni review"

1 night Arrived 28 Sep 2014
"The hotel was fine and the staff helpful; breakfast was excellent. The only drawback was the time taken to get there from the airport, about 30 minutes even at 1100pm!

This journey was enlightened by, of all things, a group of zebra crossing the main road leaving the airport; it will always bring a new meaning to "zebra crossing"." See all these reviews: 15n in Tanzania; 1n in Kenya

"Best breakfast choice ever!"

1 night Arrived 23 Sep 2014
"This hotel was exactly what was needed for one night stopover - the staff were helpful, the room was perfectly adequate, the views from one side were a foretaste of what was to come and the choice at breakfast was probably better than five star hotels.

Overall, most satisfactory." See all these reviews: 4n in Tanzania; 3n in Zanzibar; 1n in Kenya

"Ole-Sereni - a great place to start the trip"

1 night Arrived 15 Sep 2014
"We only stayed at Ole-Sereni for one night - just to break the journey, we didn't have time to sample any food, it was literally a place to sleep.

It was a very comfortable hotel and we'd certainly use it again." See all these reviews: 12n in Tanzania; 1n in Kenya

"A short night in Nairobi"

1 night Arrived 11 Sep 2014
"This was a very conveniently located hotel for a brief overnight stay between arriving late evening at Nairobi airport, and our departure early the following morning.

The staff were very obliging in arranging for the breakfast buffet to open at 05:30 for us, 30 minutes earlier than normal." See all these reviews: 11n in Tanzania; 1n in Kenya
