"Comfortable hotel, but not ideal location"

1 night Arrived 13 Nov 2015
"Sprayview is a comfortable option at Vic Falls, but just not within easy reach of the Falls. The pool area is very nice and the wifi reliable and fast (not essential but nice to have occasionally!).

The rooms are nice and clean, but the door locks are frustrating." See all these reviews: 5n in Namibia; 5n in Zimbabwe; 2n in Botswana

"Sprayview Hotel review"

2 nights Arrived 30 Sep 2014
"Our stay at the Cresta Sprayview Hotel definitely met expectations. The location is relatively convenient. It is a healthy walk to get to the Victoria Falls Park, but the hotel offers complimentary shuttle transporation at fixed times.

Our room was clean and comfortable. We did have a couple of unwanted large spiders show up after dark, but the hotel staff responded very quickly to dispose of them and told us that they were not poisonous. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. And the food was hearty and tasty at the hotel restaurant. The included breakfast was a very complete buffet with cook-to-order eggs. The cost for a meal at dinner was slightly higher than expected, but after exploring some of the other hotels, it seemed in line.

The swimming pool was not heated, but was quite refreshing after enduring a day of hot weather. And it is large enough to swim some laps if desired. The Internet reception was very poor in the hotel room that we had toward back of the hotel complex. But it worked very well in the lobby area, which was more than adequate for our needs

Overall, I would recommend this hotel as a good option for anyone seeking clean and comfortable non-luxury accommodations." See all these reviews: 8n in Botswana; 2n in Zimbabwe

"Better than first impressions"

2 nights Arrived 17 Sep 2014
"Nice welcome from reception staff. Reception area pleasant and free access to Internet appreciated. The pool was large and inviting. Divining area open and overlooked pool. The rooms esp after our lodges looked disappointing but once inside were spacious and clean not bad at all.

The hotel catered for groups of visitors of organised trips. Free taxi to the Falls but on the second day we walked there. There is a facility to book trips in the main reception area as well all the extreme experiences associated with the falls.

Value for money accommodation." See all these reviews: 8n in Namibia; 2n in Botswana; 2n in Zimbabwe

"Good place to start your trip"

1 night Arrived 3 Sep 2014
"Perfectly adequate place to rest your head after a long flight and before you head off into the bush.

Comfortable room, water was hot, excellent buffet breakfast and a nice fish and chip supper (although maybe a little overpriced)." See all these reviews: 12n in Zimbabwe

"relaxing comfortable nice grounds"

3 nights Arrived 18 Jun 2014
"Helpful staff who changed rooms so we could be next door to the younger members of the family. staff were v helpful with taxis etc and letting me use their internet when there was a flight problem. food pleasant pool area a boon after sight seeing. I like the location a bit away from the main tourist areas and we were happy to walk around." See all these reviews: 9n in Zimbabwe
