"Africa 2015"

I visited Zimbabwe and 1 other country between 17 Apr 2015 and 29 Apr 2015
"We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Cape Town was lovely, great accommodation, good restaurants, lovely trips, friendly people. It is an easy town to get around. We hired a car for two days too.

Vic Falls - enjoyed it except for the builidng works at Ilala Lodge. Also whilst walking around Vic Falls you do get hassled by young men selling souvenirs which is a nuisance and put us off walking around the town. We were advised it used to much worse.

Camp Hwange - fantastic, so many memories.

Claire organised it so well, there were no problems. Cars always turned up on time. Check-in at hotels efficient.

Overall, we loved the trip and choice of accommodation." Read full review: 12 nights in Africa; 7 on a Zimbabwe safari

"surpassed our expectations"

I visited Zimbabwe between 2 Apr 2015 and 9 Apr 2015
"Once over the shock of the 2 hour wait to enter Zimbabwe (they are building a new terminal and just cannot cope with the volume of visitors), the trip was absolutely fantastic.

The visit to Victoria Falls and the elephant safari are a must on anyones itinerary. All transfers were very timely and efficient with mineral water always available if needed. Simply our best holiday ever and although a lot of money I now appreciate why safaris are so expensive.

However, for a special occasion it does represent good value for money." Read full review: 7 nights in Africa; 7 on a Zimbabwe safari

"Report on our trip to Zimbabwe"

I visited Zimbabwe between 25 Feb 2015 and 8 Mar 2015
"We were a little surprised at how few outlets took credit cards. So it is best to bring a lot of dollars or face having to go to ATMs which might well limit you to small withdrawals.

Wherever we went in Zimbabwe the people, of whatever colour or origin, were unfailingly friendly and helpful. And at no time did we ever feel other than safe! All in all we had a splendid trip, such that it is in our minds to return to Zimbabwe at some time in the future.

So, many thanks to Nick Hobbs and all the team at Expert Africa for all your work. We will certainly use your services again in the future." Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 9 on a Zimbabwe safari

"Our holiday of a lifetime"

I visited Zimbabwe between 17 Nov 2014 and 28 Nov 2014
"This truly was a holiday of a lifetime. We had an absolutely fantastic time.

We saw far more than we'd hoped in terms of the wildlife - they were more numerous, more varied and more close up than we'd hoped. We saw so many birds we almost lost count - 63 species in total that we remembered to write down. Everyone in Zimbabwe was so friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Everything went very smoothly and we felt in very good hands with Expert Africa." Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 9 on a Zimbabwe safari

"First time safari following a rafting trip"

I visited Zimbabwe between 31 Oct 2014 and 14 Nov 2014
"I found Expert Africa a very reasuring company to use.

Having got a white water rafting trip arranged, I wanted to extend my trip to include a safari. After speaking with both Claire and Nick, they recommended going to Hwange and trying 2 different camps in different areas of the park. They also arranged my flights out to Southern Africa and the transfers from the end of my rafting trip to the start of the safari section of my trip.

In fact, the whole trip ran very smoothly and I was very pleased with all the help and advice I was given and the way the trip proceeded." Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 5 on a Zimbabwe safari

"An excellent trip"

I visited Zambia and 1 other country between 31 Oct 2014 and 9 Nov 2014
"We normally try to avoid late October because of the heat but I'm really glad we made the trip at this time of year. Game viewing was simply excellent and I was surprised how few others were travelling.

It was very hot but the camps had fans and the heat was manageable." Read full review: 9 nights in Africa; 5 on a Zambia safari

"We expected the best."

I visited Zimbabwe between 5 Oct 2014 and 16 Oct 2014
"And we think we got it.

A fantastic 9 day 3 location safari with light aircraft transfers between lodges. Clearly Zimbabwe is going through some troubled times but this in no way detracted from our trip, People are genuinely pleased to see you, none of our camps where full and the parks seemed very quiet in terms of visitors, but plenty of game. We had a fantastic trip that will live long in our memory.

A special word for Rhino Safari camp, spend 2 nights here for a totally different amazing experience.
