"Safari experience exceeded all our expectations, we had a wonderful time.
We hadn't realised quite how close we would get to the animals - 1 meter away from a lion was an unforgettable experience

"We had a wonderful time, Asilia provided us with an excellent guide for Manyara and Ngorongoro. The camps were good and some brilliant. The beach extension to relax was just right. We can't wait to do our next safari."

Very impressed by the response by Tracey last Saturday when we missed our flight and had to stay in Joburg for a night. Everyone was informed and the trip round Vic Falls was organised for us so that we could get to see the Falls the same afternoon as we arrived.

"Our trip was a once in a lifetime experience. One that will never be forgotten.
All the camps and lodges were different, as were the national parks and animal reserves. And we loved them all. We saw all the animals and birds in their natural habitat. Our guides were wonderful and very knowledgeable. WE were lucky that we had our own guide and jeep all the time, except for Lamai Serengeti. It made it easy for us to see all the animals in comfort. We have more Camps and Lodges to see in Tanzania.

All the camps and lodges were different, as were the national parks and animal reserves. And we loved them all. We saw all the animals and birds in their natural habitat. "This is the fourth time we have booked an African holiday with you (the first back in 1997 when it was simply Sunvil) and every time you have come up trumps.

"A great safari/beach holiday. Excellent organisation and advice throughout from Expert Africa. We will certainly book with Expert on our next Africa trip.
PS - our driver Stanford at Ngorongora could not have been more helpful and knowledgeable - he gave us a real insight into the local culture and traditions and coped admirably with three very long days.
The transfers in Zanzibar were the opposite. The driver meeting us in Stonetown barely said hello and never said a word during the 80 minute drive to Baraza. The return trip back to Stonetown was not much better (although we were picked up at 4am!). We were dropped off at Stonetown airport with no offer of assistance to discover we had to wait over an hour before the Coastal desk opened. It would have helped if the driver had shown us where to wait and warned us that we were early - Stonetown airport is not exactly Heathrow T5!" "We were pleased we took the advice of Expert Africa to visit the much less busy game reserves in Southern Tanzania - perfect for us having previously had uncrowded game viewing experiences in S. Africa.
We had very good game viewing, with excellent guides, in both Selous Game Reserve and Ruaha National Park. The landscapes and vegetation were quite different leading to varied experiences - in Selous it was great to see the crocs, hippos and huge variety of birds round the lake as well as the animals in the bush, whilst in Ruaha we saw larger herds of buffalo and elephants seeking water.

"A great holiday, well organised, we were met at every point, our driver/guide in Rwanda, Sam was very good. The holiday met our requirements and are looking forward to next year.

Please really emphasis the damp and coldness of the mountains when going to Rwanda to see the gorillas, it is not so much as to what to wear when climbing but how to keep warm in the rooms as everything feels damp, also take a torch as the rooms can get dark as the generators are only on for certain times, can make reading difficult."
