"Feb 2016 trip to Rwanda & Zanzibar"

"We had a great trip. Everything went smoothly. The driver/guide, Sam, from Primate Safaris was excellent. He was a really nice person with a good sense of humour and was able to tell us lots about Rwanda and answer any questions we had. He was a big help in buying books in Kigali for donating to two schools in Musanze. A visit to the Deaf School and to the pre-school at the Faith Foundation were highlights of our visit in that area (as well as the gorillas of course) He was also able to work with the Park Rangers to have us assigned to a gorilla family that didn't require too much trekking, due to my husband's bad knee.
I would like to suggest that Expert Africa promote the School for the Deaf and also the pre-school run by the Faith Foundation, both in Musanze, if any guests want to take school supplies, children's clothing or sports & games equipment for the local village. A visit to one or both of these places is very rewarding.

"Safari experience exceeded all our expectations, we had a wonderful time.
We hadn't realised quite how close we would get to the animals - 1 meter away from a lion was an unforgettable experience

"We had a wonderful time, Asilia provided us with an excellent guide for Manyara and Ngorongoro. The camps were good and some brilliant. The beach extension to relax was just right. We can't wait to do our next safari."

"Have recommended you to several friends.
Very impressed by the response by Tracey last Saturday when we missed our flight and had to stay in Joburg for a night. Everyone was informed and the trip round Vic Falls was organised for us so that we could get to see the Falls the same afternoon as we arrived.

"Our trip was a once in a lifetime experience. One that will never be forgotten.
All the camps and lodges were different, as were the national parks and animal reserves. And we loved them all. We saw all the animals and birds in their natural habitat. Our guides were wonderful and very knowledgeable. WE were lucky that we had our own guide and jeep all the time, except for Lamai Serengeti. It made it easy for us to see all the animals in comfort. We have more Camps and Lodges to see in Tanzania.

"A great safari/beach holiday. Excellent organisation and advice throughout from Expert Africa. We will certainly book with Expert on our next Africa trip.
PS - our driver Stanford at Ngorongora could not have been more helpful and knowledgeable - he gave us a real insight into the local culture and traditions and coped admirably with three very long days.
The transfers in Zanzibar were the opposite. The driver meeting us in Stonetown barely said hello and never said a word during the 80 minute drive to Baraza. The return trip back to Stonetown was not much better (although we were picked up at 4am!). We were dropped off at Stonetown airport with no offer of assistance to discover we had to wait over an hour before the Coastal desk opened. It would have helped if the driver had shown us where to wait and warned us that we were early - Stonetown airport is not exactly Heathrow T5!"
