"White Sand Villas, a Zanzibar paradise"
And the dining and guest experience is great, particularly when they hold poolside events with live music and such. Very memorable!
The beach is true to form. White sand, soft, almost like kitchen flour underfoot. Note that this isn't Hawaii, you'll have random locals passing on the beach trying to sell you trinkets and experiences. The property has security who work hard to keep this to a minimum, but be prepared for an unexpected conversation or two with someone selling their wares and mastering the art of politely declining.
The menu of activities is expansive, and given our limited timetable we couldn't take up most of them but the snorkeling was certainly memorable and a story we share to this day.
Ultimately this was our relaxation post safari, and our young daughters favorite stop of the trip. So if you're looking for sun and sand you're going to have a great time here." See all these reviews: 8n in Tanzania; 8n in Kenya; 3n in Zanzibar
"White Sand Villas review"
Staff were friendly, helpful and the food was just superb.
The accommodation was amazingly spacious and private and the private pool was much appreciated as the sea wasn't quite so good for swimming." See all these reviews: 8n in Tanzania; 6n in Zanzibar

"extremely nice villas"
It was perfect.
The beach villas are so provate with an amazing view.
The only little little thing is that the maids and staff in general just enter the room without knocking or checking. We felt this was a little bit intrusive." See all these reviews: 8n in Tanzania; 7n in Zanzibar
"Zanzibar White Sands review"
The service was very good - the staff were very friendly and willing to do anything they could to help make your stay better. We asked for an extra chair for the upper deck to enjoy the beach views and watch the moon rise, and one was quickly brought over.
The food was very good and always included a fresh local fish dish. The beach is a fantastic stretch of white sand. The tide does go out a long way so having our own pool for a cooling swim was a real luxury.
A great place for a relaxing end to a holiday. We would highly recommend a tour of the Seaweed Centre in Paje to see how the local mamas farm seaweed - a good source of additional income for them.
Beachfront villas 3,4 & 5 are further from the kite centre & more private." See all these reviews: 15n in Rwanda; 9n in Zanzibar
