Greater Bushbaby Safari: Summary
Greater Bushbaby Safari in a nutshell
Create an everlasting memory on this magical safari perfect for a large family or group of friends.
Available between April and November, the safari takes in Zambia’s two most productive wildlife parks. South Luangwa National Park sits in the Luangwa Valley, at the southern end of Africa’s Great Rift Valley. It’s rich in bird and animal life and is particularly renowned for numerous leopard sightings. With a very different atmosphere, Lower Zambezi National Park is sandwiched between an escarpment and the wide Zambezi River. The variety of wildlife-viewing opportunities is enhanced by the range of activities on offer – drives, walks, boating, fishing and canoe trips.
In each park you’ll stay in a two-storey, four-bedroom house, designed in a unique and fun way for a truly special holiday. Constructed of stone and thatch, the Luangwa Safari House overlooks a waterhole frequented by elephants, while adobe-plastered walls and natural wood give Chongwe River House, overlooking the Chongwe Channel, a character all of its own. Each house is open-fronted with wilderness views, has four en-suite bedrooms, a central lounge, a pool, and comes with a private guide and chef.
