"Ubuntu Camp review"
Everyone in our camp saw the rhino except for us as our driver for two days said it was either two far, too hot, or too late even though everyone was coming in for three days saying they had seen the rhino. We were assured we would see the rhino at Sayari as we would be there three days and it was in the area of the rhino where everyone was seeing it. Did not happen as we spent one entire day searching and one half of another. Our guide, Humphrey, gave it his best, but the rhino did not co-operate. This was our only disappointment." "Wildebeest calving season at Ubuntu"
For a mobile camp, the accommodation, facilities and food were all excellent. Our guide Makubi was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and fun, and Meleijahas our Maasai warrior was exceptional - spending time with him was a great experience and he spotted wildlife, particulalry cheetah, that were way in the distance." "Wonderful location and fantastic cheetah view"
The manager at this camp was top end and he definitely had his finger on the pulse - we were very impressed. The food was excellent too.
The game viewing here was fabulous - we saw numerous cheetahs including several mothers with cubs as well as thousands of wildebeest literally pouring into the area to give birth - a very special sight and something we'll never forget." See all these reviews: 10n in Tanzania

"Ubuntu Tented Camp"
Animals can be up close and personal so the element of danger adds to the experience. Interesting sounds throughout the night as a result. Staff escort all guests around camp after the sun goes down.
Meals are served in the 'mess' tent in communal style. Great opportunity to share experiences and meet fellow guests. Food and wine is excellent and of a really high standard especially for the location. Lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. Drinks included except for premium ones. Well stocked drinks cabinet, books and games also available.
Personal washing included.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful - the best we met. Service really is personal. We posed them with an interesting challenge and sure enough they came up with a solution after 24 hours of consideration. They really went beyond what you should expect.
A must to truely experience the Serengeti at it's best. The Mara river is very close and provides the perfect opportunity for migration river crossings - we were lucky enought to get to see this amazing natural phenomenom.
Somewhat costly although good value for money and highly recommended." See all these reviews: 6n in Tanzania; 5n in Zanzibar
