"Rivertrees Country Inn review"
Accommodation was comfy and well appointed. Pretty grounds and great to add several new bird species and watch blue monkeys before we'd even set foot in a Landcruiser. Staff were excellent. Bar and restaurant area were certainly up to standard.
We only stayed one night, but this would certainly be a great location to spend a few days looking at Arusha and environs" See all these reviews: 11n in Tanzania

"Very pleasant"
Drinks at the bar were very reasonably priced and there's wifi in the public areas. Vervet monkeys provided some fine late afternoon entertainment.
It's about half-way between Kilimanjaro and Arusha airports, a 30-40 minute drive each. It was a convenient and very pleasant stop for a one-day layover in Arusha." See all these reviews: 11n in Tanzania
"Nice quiet location"
The staff is polite and friendly, but were not always efficient.
The restaurant offerings are aimed for the western palate - it is good, but not great.
The rooms are clean and well appointed. Plenty of hot water in the shower." See all these reviews: 9n in Tanzania

"Great overnight stay in Arusha"
The hotel was set in a beautiful botanical garden with all sorts of plants and birds, and our room was very comfortable and private. Although it's half the cost of Arusha Coffee Lodge, we had a much more enjoyable time here.
Would highly recommend it!" See all these reviews: 6n in Tanzania; 2n in Zimbabwe

Our room was basic and in need of some repair work. The en-suite bathroom door latch was faulty and the door would not remain closed (not an issue to us but may be to others), however, the hot tap in the shower was a problem as the handle just spun round (old type of design) unless you pressed it in hard. We could not turn the water off at first and the water was dangerously hot.
The grounds are very well laid out and cared for and the two open sided dining rooms are very pleasant to eat in. The staff are very welcoming and attentive." See all these reviews: 10n in Tanzania; 3n in Kenya
