"Secluded and peaceful place which was very welcome after several hours travelling. Huge room, beautifully kept with a large bed which invited sleep! Staff very attentive and provided 1st class service. Worth a wander round the grounds and onto the adjoining golf course." See all these reviews: 8n in Tanzania; 5n in Zanzibar

"Hamerkop House review"

1 night Arrived 14 Feb 2023
"Great location close to golf course and easy access for a walk which was necessary after our long flight.

As a party of four we were wanting to relax together outside but there were insufficient chairs so we had to sit on upright table chairs around the pool which was a shame. The pool was full of leaves and petals and did not look inviting or indeed very clean.

HOWEVER the food was AMAZINGLY GOOD and all the staff were exceptionally welcoming and service was brilliant.

Rooms were beautiful and very clean, we enjoyed our stay." See all these reviews: 17n in Tanzania

"Hamerkop House review"

1 night Arrived 6 Mar 2021
"A great and extremely quiet place to start or end your safari (also wonderful just to relax). The house is beautiful and very clean and is located between Kilimanjaro Int. Airport and Arusha Airport. For golfers, a little paradise...for everyone else, too.

The staff makes you feel at home and provides great service. My room was huge, very large bedroom, incredible bath (outdoor shower etc.). The food was completely prepared according to my wishes and very tasty. No wish remains unfulfilled.

I would definitely come again." See all these reviews: 17n in Tanzania

"Beautiful accommodations"

1 night Arrived 11 Nov 2020
"It's a shame we had only 1 night here because we didn't have any time to explore the area. Our suite was enormous with everything we could possibly need and more. In fact it was so big that it was a bit of a challenge to check that we had packed everything before we left.
The bed was wonderfully comfortable, the food and service were excellent and the pool looked very enticing, although again, we didn't have time to use it. If we were to return I would book a stay of at least 2 nights." See all these reviews: 12n in Tanzania; 8n in Zanzibar
