My Feb 2023 trip
Tanzania between 13 Feb 2023 and 4 Mar 2023
All our requirements were met and even after two cancellations over the COVID years we maintained all our original bookings dates ( 3yrs on) times and schedules.
Perfect planning seeing the migration in the southern Serengeti then fly on to the northern Serengeti to wildlife watch up there.
All our accommodation in mobile camps were high quality venues and of course Mkombe’s house was just an amazing experience.
Our final chill and relax at the Manta resort was perfect. What a place?!
I would like to thank the Expert Africa team for all their hard work planning and amending this trip through several difficult years. We were always given friendly and extremely efficient service and Jessica Plumb was totally brilliant. She was easy to contact and always available to answer questions or make adjustments to our plans. We would like to thank her so very much."

Safari in Ngorongoro Crater

16 Feb 2023 • All-day excursion
However we were there in February and it seemed busy with safari vehicles (over 100 at the picnic area) we would not want to be there at high season !
Lemala Mara-Ndutu
"Lemala Mara-Ndutu review"
Showering was great fun!!
Lots of wildlife in camp day and night which was fantastic.
Saw a honey badger on our last day which was a bonus"
Mkombe's House Lamai
"An experience that will stay with us forever"
Babu gave us an exceptional welcome and along with Gabrielle and all the staff we were made to feel like kings and queens. Nothing too much trouble but always presented in relaxed and quietly efficient manor. Babu taught me how to play Bao and even allowed me to win once or twice!
The food was of outstanding in quality and variety. breakfast on safari, lunch afternoon tea, pre dinner nibbles and dinner the chef shared his recipes and I have made his granola and smoked aubergine dip trying hard to remember the mornings on the Serengeti and beautiful evening sunsets.
This house is a one off experience, highly recommended if you get the opportunity to visit."
Manta Resort
"Exceptional resort"
Its commitment to nature, caring for the reef the sea life and the general environment were humbling and thought provoking.
High quality local food, accommodation wonderful and customer service beyond brilliant.
We would recommend very highly."

general holiday feedback
Tanzania between 10 Feb 2011 and 22 Feb 2011
Ras Kutani provided the perfect environment for rest and relaxation after safari. would highly recommend both resorts
We had a delay of 1 hour at Dar airport on the transfer to Ras Kutani, we had to sit in a minibus for the duration which had to be incurred in order that transfer details could be given to other holiday makers coming in on another flight after ours, it was unnecessary and just marred the holiday slightly."

Beho Beho
"Beho Beho review"
The waiting staff at the camp were conspicuous by their abscence, however offered service of the very highest standard at all times and always with a smile, they appeared from nowhere at sundowners on the plains during our walking safari and even thought to park the jeep some distance from the directors chairs so we would not notice....they know how to do it perfectly at this camp!"

Ras Kutani, Tanzania (this camp has since closed)
"Ras Kutani review"
Ras Kutani is beautifully situated on an idilic coastline, beautiful sandy beach stretching for miles no sign of any other holiday makers except those at the resort.(and they were not many)! Despite the isolation and relative peacefulness, there is plenty to do, snorkelling and surf boarding, walking and visits to the local village all ensure time never lingers. The staff are very polite and offer a quiet presence ensuring comfort and relaxation at all times. the accommodation was superb, clean, quiet and completely private."

As a party of four we were wanting to relax together outside but there were insufficient chairs so we had to sit on upright table chairs around the pool which was a shame. The pool was full of leaves and petals and did not look inviting or indeed very clean.
HOWEVER the food was AMAZINGLY GOOD and all the staff were exceptionally welcoming and service was brilliant.
Rooms were beautiful and very clean, we enjoyed our stay."
