"Serena Hotel Dar review"
With little experience to make an informed comparison, I suspect that it’s about as good as it gets in Dar es Salaam. It was comfortable, the staff was efficient, and we had a good evening meal - a particularly good curry!
We were told we had to leave for the airport very early (perhaps too early?) and the hotel gave us an enormous breakfast box to take with us. Regrettably, the quality of the contents was in inverse proportion to the size of the box." See all these reviews: 15n in Tanzania

The food and service are excellent.
We slept extremely well here and did not hear any sounds from other rooms or the hallway.

We arrived late and left very early but our late night snack in the bar was excellent.

We visited the pool, which was nice, and had a drink at the pool bar. We had dinner at the restaurant's evening buffet - service was wonderful and presentation and cleanliness was top notch.
You could tell that the staff took much pride in presentation. We experienced the same level of service and food at breakfast the next morning.
