"Excellent in every regard. From the moment we were picked up by our guide Anton at Mtemere air strip, we were made to feel so very welcome.

Noah's team sang and clapped as we arrived at the camp. We had half the camp to ourselves and the rooms are beautifully designed and kept immaculately clean. The food was abundant and excellent (lots of fresh veg which we weren't expecting!).

Every member of the Siwandu team went above and beyond to make our honeymoon stay memorable and special. We were so grateful to Anton our guide for his kind manner, his incredible knowledge and outstanding off-road driving.

The activities of going on the pontoon lunch, the boat safari etc were all brilliant.

"Ikuka was very welcoming and well laid out. We had come from Siwandu in Nyerere and were looking forward to another safari experience.

Chevy and Tommy and their team were very welcoming. We enjoyed seeing/hearing the resident bull elephant Rambo crashing around camp in the evenings. The room was spectacular and always clean. Ikuka has an incredible view southwards across Ruaha and it was great to come back to relax in the pool between safari trips.

Our guide Luka was very knowledgeable and interesting to talk to and we were lucky in being paired with a great couple in our truck. We immensely enjoyed the balloon trip we arranged though the 4am get up was a shock to the system ;).

Ikuka's food was excellent and really well sourced - including catering for 1 x gluten free for us, and we enjoyed some excellent wine and cocktails while there.

We were very lucky in terms of animal spotting in Ruaha - including multiple leopards, wild dogs and a single honey badger."

"Fanjove felt like an island paradise in every respect.

We arrived at Songo Songo air strip from Dar es Salaam and were collected by Alex, the activities manager. Following a short boat ride to the island, we were greeted by 15 staff members all dancing and singing. We were told we were the only guests on the island which was unbelievable.

Our room (No 1) was beautiful and had an incredible view across the sea, right next to the shore. The food was superb and Chef Edmund uses lots of seafood and fresh veg and fruit in his excellent dishes. We enjoyed a nice selection of wines and cocktails. During our trip, we were able to watch some of the staff carefully moving a turtle egg next to safety higher up the beach.

We also enjoyed the sunset dhow, dolphin watching, snorkelling and our first dive down to 12m. We had never scuba dived before and Hakim was an excellent tutor in introducing us and making us comfortable. It was a great experience.

We also had plenty of time to unwind and live the relaxed island vibes following 8 days of back to back safari - a very welcome change of pace!

Francesca and Alex and the whole team could not have been more friendly or welcoming, and it was a wrench to leave! We would return at the drop of a hat."
