"Expert Africa managed everything from tailoring our trip to our preferences to then booking and making sure everything went completely seamlessly.
We absolutely loved our trip and it was the trip of a lifetime!
Thank you so much for everything you did for us, it was so special.
I cannot fault anything Expert Africa organised for us."

Beho Beho
"Beho Beho review"
4 nights
Arrived

"Beho Beho was the ultimate family style cultural Safari camp. The camp was absolutely stunning and seemingly had catered for everything from a plunge pool in your room to a very comfortable living area in the main building with a fully stocked bar.
The game drives were in very comfortable cars and you were able to start viewing animals from within the camp every morning ranging from Elephants to Warthogs.
A real highlight of Beho Beho was the sundowner locations which you could tell the guides had spent time to research and find the best spots for us to enjoy a drink while always being near to some animals to spot.
The dinner location changing every night was also an incredibly thoughtful approach by the staff and this meant that we had a real variety from eating in the Boma to eating with a view of the watering hole to spot the male lion walking through camp. Another thing we loved about the dinners were that the staff ate with us and we had a real lesson in traditional Tanzanian cuisine while getting to know our hosts, creating a real family vibe.
The ultimate highlight of our trip to Beho Beho however was the water safari in which we spent time in the boat spotting hippos, crocodiles and many water dwelling birds and other animals but the surprise was when we rounded a corner to a breakfast table with the staff waiting to serve us a full hot breakfast. It was absolutely spectacular having breakfast listening to the Hippos and birds.
We loved Beho Beho and the only thing better than the wildlife, food & drink was the people. A perfect summary is that we arrived with a handshake and left with a hug. We will definitely revisit Beho Beho in the future."

Ikuka Safari Camp
"Ikuka Safari Camp review"
4 nights
Arrived
14 Sep 2024
"Ikuka was a superb camp.
We were welcomed into the stunning main hall with a view out over the bush which stretched for miles due to the hilltop nature of the camp.
The hosts were very welcoming and there was always a drink and cold towel waiting for you when you returned from game drives.
We stuck with our guide for every drive which was a nice touch as you could really get to know your guide and he was making every effort to show us every animal we were hoping to see. The wealth of animals in Ruaha was second to none and we were able to see rare animals such as leopards and lions multiple times on different days.
Our bedroom was absolutely stunning with a true outdoor feel and the heavy duty tent that was set up for you every night kept the bugs at bay and allowed us to feel safe within the room.
Finally the food was stunning and we particularly enjoyed the group dinners where we got to know the other guests at the camp.
We loved our time at Ikuka and would recommend this for all looking for a luxury camp."

Manta Resort
"Manta Resort review"
5 nights
Arrived

"Manta was the ultimate relaxation resort to conclude our honeymoon.
The resort is about an hour and a half drive from the airport where you get to see the locals of Pemba Island going about their daily lives. When you arrive at the camp you are greeted by the team that will look after you for the whole stay and are met with a view over the gorgeous blue sea which never gets old.
The rooms were incredible and the pool in the room was a lovely addition with views of the sea. The food was amazing and the seafood was the best seafood I've ever had.
We utilised the free spa treatments every day and used the dive centre to go snorkelling in the morning. The best activities however was going to the Sand bank for lunch. We were taken by boat to the sand bank with a chef and we had a tent sent up for us and then the chef barbecued lobster, calamari & red snapper for us to eat on our private island in the middle of the sea. We then returned from that and then watched the sunset from the incredible beach bar with the white sand in between our toes and a cocktail in hand.
Manta gave us a wonderful conclusion to the trip of a lifetime."

The rooms were good if a little dated but we were there only to sleep.
We did enjoy a few beers by the pool in the afternoon and the meal was very reasonably priced."
